I was using liquid for a long time and since I have a bunch of fluidlines I started using them again and Ive fallen in love with them again. I usually do a winged look but sometimes I just keep it simple. I find that my winged liner is not very good but when I use my fluidlines even my crappy applications look pretty decent.
I was on the search for some brushes recently and did some reading, I just picked up the 266 and 210 this weekend. Both are nice. I find the 266 is more fluid and easy to use but I may prefer the 210
I find that with fluidlines the line isnt as crisp and precise, probably has to do with the brush as well.

perhaps, my lines are never very precise and crisp haha BUT i do find they look better when I use fluidlines over liquid. I think I just find it easier to use on myself

I think some of these colors are too fun not to try, so I'll probably end up with one. I'm eyeing Shade the most, I love that deep forest green.

Ivy is one of my most used f/ls - looking forward to picking up a new one with this collection. However, I like doing colored wings, which is what I always use it for. It's not a dark, smokey color at all - it's GREEN. I'll do big wings with Ivy and then use a very soft pink, or bright orangey coral or lavender on the lips. The only drawback with it is it can be a little sheer with one layer. You have to build it a bit, which is fine since that's how I do larger wings.

If you have pigmented lips, they're always going to blend with the color of a Lustre. I do think that Lustres can be hard on the lips when you over apply them, but if you go with the translucency and do a moderate coat, they don't get harsh on the lips. I love Lustres because they make the lips look very soft and young, but you only get that with a medium coat, not a heavy or layered one.

If you all skip this collection, it just means more for me!

There are a ton of the lipsticks I'm interested in, but I'm particularly crazy for Highlights! Dying for that one, which will show up like a peachy nude on my red lips. Can't wait!
Thank you Liba for reminding me why I got Heavenly Hybrid. I was wearing Moxie but I wiped it off and put HH on. I'm so ready for spring, so I'm bringing out my seasonal lustres.

Thanks ladies for your help with the brushes. I have the 266, I think it's mostly operator error, LOL.
Aww, not necessarily. We all have different eyes and what works for one person might not work for another. I have trouble with wings on my eyes because they are slightly hooded and the crease totally gets in the way. On top of that, they aren't symmetrical. I watch some of these tutorials on YouTube and most of them have eyes that are very easy to create wings on. Just keep practicing and trying different tools/methods.

I have the same issues. Its tough. I can create a thin line but even when I do it just looks thick because they are slightly hooded..think J Law or Blake Lively. I have such trouble!

Same here! If I wear eyeliner, I might as well not wear a lid color, because all you will see is the crease color and the liner.

You guys can probably try tightlining instead. It's kind of where you line underneath the lashline - it basically darkens the roots of your lashes and you get the lined eye look without taking up too much lid real estate.

Yep!! I think this is partly why I pretty much never wear eyeshadow, I always feel like you can't see much, plus I wear glasses so double whammy

Perhaps I'll try it, I think I have before but it doesn't hurt to try again! I just want a sweet kick ass winged look though haha
