I also wear glasses. I am more likely to wear eyeshadow and no liner than the other way around, though. My eyes look a bit bare with just liner.
liner without any shadow/sculpting is really not the best look for me, too. I mostly do a really dramatic look with smokey eyes and mostly rather a thick liner, and my glasses kinda absorb all the heaviness and make it everyday/work friendly. I'm really short-sighted, but I've learnt that some recommendations in magazines about makeup and glasses just don't work for me (e.g. no dark colors ). I guess everybody needs to try and find out on their own, depending on their eye shape and also the type of glasses they wear (like geeky, textbook glasses vs. rather subtle styles).

:wtf2: say what now? I need to google Spanish Fly. Never heard of it. Must of been before my addiction w/MAC started. A blue-brown lippie sounds heavenly though. MAC bring it back!!!!
Just googled Spanish Fly. Wowza I'd love this being repromoted.

So which brush are you all using with the fluidlines? I need help, I've been practicing my winged liner but it's still tragic.
I use the 266 and the 210 and Sonia Kashuk bent liner brush. My lashes tend to get in the way and the bent brush seems to make things easier. I think someone here has as their signature " Never ask a girl with winged liner why she is late."

As someone with hooded lids as well it takes a bit of patience to get them right. Sometimes I end up looking like Amy Winehouse. *shrugs* Sometimes I just roll with the look. It's funny how I can easily put winged liner on others but struggle sometimes on myself.

That is one of the only lustres that I just had to get from Fantasy of Flowers, and I actually like it. Heavenly Hybrid too. Snapdragon, not so much.
I am undecided on Heavenly Hybrid - sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't. I'm getting rid of Dreaming Dahlia as soon as I get a sale page set up. I'm going to wait til spring to decide about Heavenly Hybrid.

Snapdragon was so pretty but looked like nothing on the lips for me.

Back then, I even ordered two at once because I expected it to be more lavender toned (more similar to Pink Popcorn etc). Note to self: no greedy BU-ordering in the future! Since selling makeup hasn't been worth the effort when I tried in former times, I guess I'll just keep both, although they're not as special as I expected. In the "wrong" combo, this color can look a little trashy on me, but I can be a lovely spring pink, too, with the right eye look. I've also got Rose Lily from that collection, which I can only dab on, otherwise I'll look horrible. But I can't let that one go for the name.
Although I find them quite drying, I generally do like Lustres, though. Some of my favorite lippies are lustres (Syrup, Plumful, Sweetie, Flamingo, Patisserie, Feed the senses,...), so I cannot really dislike that formula...although the same shades in a different formula might be pretty nice.

I BU Snapdragon too. Lol. Don't feel bad. I never backed MU before coming to Specktra. I rarely use a tube of lipstick up. BU a lipstick is more often than not against my better judgment.

Dreaming Dahlia is one of my favorite lustres along with Flamingo, Razzledazzler, Milan Mode, and Siren Song. I don't find the luster formula neither drying or hydrating, but they can be very hit (Milan Mode) or miss (Pretty Please). I think Mac needs to update their lustre, frost, and hue permanent sections because some colors are so frosty and outdated. I would've bought Snapdragon but I thought it was similar to Budding Love from the Chenman collection. If y'all don't want your FoF lippies anymore feel free to give 'em to me, lol.

I'd say my favorite Lustres list would be WOODROSE!!!, LIght English Red!!, Feed the Senses!!, Razzledazzler (which is better on me than Flamingo, which is still really nice), Rose Lilly, Fleur d'Coral (LOVE), Pink Popcorn, 5 Alarm and Tangerine Dream.

I really liked all the FoF lipsticks, although some of them need a little perking up with some pencil underneath or gloss on top to read more vibrant on me, like Dreaming Dahlia, Snapdragon and Heavenly Hybrid. They all make my lips look very smooth, though. I think the trick with them is you have to find the ones that match to your lip color and skin tone more carefully than with some other formulas, but when they work, they WORK.

Ivy is one of my most used f/ls - looking forward to picking up a new one with this collection. However, I like doing colored wings, which is what I always use it for. It's not a dark, smokey color at all - it's GREEN. I'll do big wings with Ivy and then use a very soft pink, or bright orangey coral or lavender on the lips. The only drawback with it is it can be a little sheer with one layer. You have to build it a bit, which is fine since that's how I do larger wings.

If you have pigmented lips, they're always going to blend with the color of a Lustre. I do think that Lustres can be hard on the lips when you over apply them, but if you go with the translucency and do a moderate coat, they don't get harsh on the lips. I love Lustres because they make the lips look very soft and young, but you only get that with a medium coat, not a heavy or layered one.

If you all skip this collection, it just means more for me!

There are a ton of the lipsticks I'm interested in, but I'm particularly crazy for Highlights! Dying for that one, which will show up like a peachy nude on my red lips. Can't wait!
Oh I am not skipping!!! I love my FoF lustres, I'm hoping these are similar! Also getting numerous fluidlines LOL. I am wearing Black Ivy and Copperthorn today, just putting them on got me all pumped for this collection!

I like pink popcorn, sparing it. Hope can get something that is very close to this shade from this collection
Thank you for sharing

I'm really excited for this collection and hope I can save enough! I tend to be so quiet and lurk often these threads, as I don't want any major distractions from school.
Although I really enjoyed the lustre's I got from FoF so I'm looking forward to these that are coming out.
