First.....

Fingers are crossed that it goes really well. I guess it depends on what you are wearing. If you wear black I would wear Ruby Woo, Stunner, Kinky, Opera or Victoriana. You can also go with nude and put on Oxblood. Bottom line: Don't O.D on the makeup. Generally, most men don't like a lot of makeup. They tend to like the natural look with maybe a little lip gloss.

When it comes to nails, even those guys that like no makeup get all fascinated with RED. I know….this makes zero sense. I think they just imagine red lipstick getting all messy when they're going in for the kiss, but nails aren't messy, so they can handle the red.

I'd go for your lushest red. It'll be a nice match with your peachy lips!

I agree with @Vandekamp that neutral and fresh is always a good plan for a first date. Save the fun colors for the next date. Goodluck!!!!

^ This collection is a pastel and ice cream shade paradise! When all the products are lined up together, they look so scrumptious. I have my eye on 2 of the brushes too, especially the large white one.

When my MA tried them she said they look chalky but go on more like a veluxe.
