Do we know which, if any, of the brushes are going to be permanent? I may have read it further back, but I don't have the time to go right back through the thread.
I asked my Mac girl about the brushes and she told me the 221 is gonna be perm. 221 seems to be a good brush for my habits/needs, so I plan to get it some day in the future. The cheek/blending brush is LE, she said. I did not ask about the curved liner one since I wasn't interested in it.

The biggest problem with Lustres I think is that they're easy to over apply. That's when they start getting uneven, shorten the wear time and can become drying. If you use a light touch, expecting it won't be fully opaque, you'll find they give a very smooth quality to the lips. I have very pigmented lips, so that can be nice too, since the color will blend with the natural lip color quite nicely. Not all Lustres are as good, but I think MAC has been doing much better with them overall - just don't expect too much from nude ones, necessarily. Those will be the trickiest ones in this formula, since the wrong color will either not show up or seem weird against the skin tone.
Thanks for that info! I usually tend to apply a bit more when I'm wearing lustres, don't really know why. Not to make them opaque, rather to get even more of the glossy effect. They are drying for me if I don't use Prep & Prime, so I'll try to apply less! Lustres also tend to land on my teeth (like Sheen Supremes, too), so I guess this problem will be solved as well :)

I wasn't even supposed to get anything from this collection :eek:hboy: I took a wrong turn somewhere, and ended up subscribing to this thread! I can't stop buying makeup  What has become of my life?! :sheep:
I know that feeling
Same here. For me it was the fluidlines. I have plenty of palettes now thanks to this forum (mostly Lorac and UD palettes) Lipstick is forever a weakness for me (thanks to this forum) And now I'm on a pigment and fluidline binge. I've always been an eyeliner girl though. It's just been black eyeliner most of life until I got my hands on the moody blooms fluidlines...

I keep getting drawn to Diva-ish and Make Me Gorgeous when I look at swatches, but I can't shake the feeling that I already own those colors. I think I'm going to have to skip them... in favor of some of the lustres oddly enough.
