I dont wanna waste product by putting it on the back of my hand

and I have my beauty blender for under eye concealer...hmmmm, I'm going to figure out how the 267 would like to be used. I've only given her one chance, she deserves more
winks.gif
...i couldn't return her, even if I don't reach for her often, I'm a brush hoarder!!! When I go back to Mexico, I'll take a pic of my collection. Youre going to FLIP OUT!

I put concealer on the back of my hand and hate wasting product. What's your fix for that?

I mastered the art of the 'half pump trick'...it took some time to figure it out, but practice makes perfect! but before I mastered that technique, I bought some tiny travel cosmetic pots and pumped a few pumps of concealer into it. I was able to dip into it for two weeks before I used up the contents inside!

Soooo, I started playing with some of my goodies today. Well, LG. When I highlighted my face I totally forgot about Pearl Blossom. LOL! Product over load! Like I said earlier, LG was a tiny bit of a pain to apply. Until I found the right brush! Bobbi Brown's Ultra Fine liner brush applied it like a dream. I love this brush for gel eyeliners. I highly recommend it. I just really need to learn how to make a wing with it. I always need to resort to thin, stiff, angled brushes for that part. I picked up the MAC 263 with this collection because I realized I never had it! I'm not sure if I like it. It's a little flimsy. I'll try it with another gel liner to see how I like it.  I was able to pick up Oxblood in a Nordies re-stock last week, and that's what I'm wearing on the lips. My shadow is from the Cinderella palette. I've worn it every day this week! So versatile. :) Blush is Osbourne Cheeky Bugger.  Sorry for the awkwardly close and weirdly tilted head selfie.   The sun was quickly setting and it was hard to capture the beauty of the burgundy color of LG! Anyway, I really, really love it. I'm glad I got it over Our Secret. It's completely unique to my collection. I never thought I'd be able to pull off a burgundy type of liner!
This look is stunninggg on u one of my fave

I use pet shampoo! The cleansing formula is gentle on my brushes and it also has antibacterial properties in it! Most of my brushes are goat hair, so I figured, "why not wash it with soap made for an animals hair?!"....Have you tired that silicone mat that sigma makes? I need to get one of those! I have found GEMS in the art store!!! I'm there more than the MAC counter!!! I go daily  They know me by name now lol. I'm headed there right now actually! :)
Erine said Dr Bronner liquid soap is good for brushes. It's probably cheaper too. Target has a 16oz bottle for less than $10, and you can even wash a goat with that! Haha. The sigma mat seems like a total rip off! It's really just a silicone glove with different textures with a bumped up price. You can find a textured silicone oven mitt for about $10. The people at the art store probably wonder why you buy lots of brushes and no paint. Haha. I'm sure I get the same reaction at Pat Catans. I should look at Michaels too though because Pat Catans brushes have long handles that get in my way.

Pearl Blossom and Real Redhead.

I love Real Redhead! Definitely not mauve nude, more peachy nude on me but some of my natural lip color shows through and adds the pink. And the formula is perfect! Like Light English Red from Prabal, just so smooth, super hydrating (at least for me), no lip line sinkage. Definitely better than the Cinderella lustres. I like it more than Romantic Breakdown as well. I haven't tried PB on the face yet but it looks pretty so far. I think I'm still going to pick up Call the Hairdresser and Notice Me as well.

Nordstroms' sample pots are really sturdy and have a screw top lid. I asked for a sample of light boost once and that's what they gave it in. I have been using it for my prolongwear concealer ever since.

Thanks! That's exactly what I need it for. I'm going to try that.

I am suppose to be making egg nest cookies for my daughters.

I just ordered Dr. B's soap from Well.ca in Canada if anyone is looking for it. Reasonable price and lots of sizes and scents.

Picked up my order yesterday:

Real Redhead and Call the Hairdresser (had to have that, I love my hairdresser)
Siahi, Brassy and Deliciously Rich
Preening, Wow Factor and Bouffant
I Get No Kick
and I picked up Fleur Power blush

The manager told me she received a slip telling her the brushes have shipped so likely next week at the counter.

I would suggest to those finding the shadows too pale to swatch them with a brush and not your finger, it made a world of difference for me.

Some bad person just posted a beautiful swatch of Catty so I will spend the remainder of my morning trying not to order it.

One of my concealers has a wand (MAC), one has a brush (LA Girl Pro Conceal), then the Becca one I'm trying is in the sample container so I use my finger. But for my NYX eyebrow gel I mastered squeezing out just enough for my brows on the back of my hand. Took practice too.

+ @MACGirl1908 I have some stackable screw top ones that I got from The Container Store for travel that I use for many things. That store is just as addicting as MAC for me.

Probably why they looked bad on me, but no I will not use a brush then end up liking them.
