That is actually a really good question. The only thing is Emerald Green Pigment, but that is Pro. Weird, I never thought of that!

I would also like to see a true hunter green (darker than Bottle Green).

Does anyone know how Typographic compares with Carbon? Carbon seems more dark grey than black on me.

I totally agree about the comment about the greens. I have Bobbie Bobbie matte IVY to ease my itch for that color.

Their blues are very limited, but that's just my old opinion.

None of these colors really excite me. A few of them did before I saw this, but now... eh. Unless the colors are off like all the recent photos in Smoke Signals...

Clarity looks kinda like Electric Eel or Freshwater.
Newly Minted looks kinda like Pro Bottle Green.
Post Haste looks kinda like Sushi Flower or Passionate.

Guess it will be all about the texture for me since the new formula is supposed to be more "buttery."

I was wondering the same thing. At the risk of sounding like a dummy, would "asphalt black" be darker or lighter than "intense black"?

I'm *guessing* that typographic would be lighter than carbon. But that's just a guess.

We can always hope that they'll come out with a black black black BLACK e/s, though!

LMAO! I know! I guess descriptions can only do so much, but I was also confused. I mean isn't black, black and if it's lighter than black, then it isn't black, it's a very very dark grey or brown...

Blacker than Carbon? I think Carbon is pretty black, esp. packed on, although a blue-black would be the coolest thing ever. I guess Nehru is the closest thing to it though.

Mmmm maybe I'm being greedy / guilty of wishful thinking, but I'd like a black with even stronger payoff, really really RICH. Carbon just comes off as a little "dull" to me. Not that deep. I'd like a black that's as dark as, say, my soul.

from what I could detect (small sample), typographic is a dark colour that has both purple and darkbrown in it, except for dark grey. It was truely beautiful!

I think there is only so much a powder e/s can do. I mean most people use powder e/s as liners is because it looks more natural / less harsh. If you want true, strong black, u have to go for liquid or gel e/l

I can't wait for this collection especially when I saw Newly Minted and CLarity in Marie Claire's September issue....They used the e/s to create this awesome Cleopatra look ala Elizabeth Taylor. Wow!

And no, I don't consider Humid to be emerald. If you look at the color of an actual emerald, Humid is much more yellow.

I couldn't possibly agree more. The last emerald MAC did was De Menthe, and that was back when dinosaurs ruled the earth and is long gone. I LOVE emerald and have been hoping for one with every single collection the past few years (Jadeye really got my hopes up, but no.)

That said: "Classic Dame - Blood Red." Oh hell yeah.
