So these are a lot better than last year. They reformulated them and are much more user friendly. They still smudge but not like last year's

anyone know gold mode is similar to .... ?
I won't buy warm pigment set (holiday collection) because I already have some gold or brown pigments. so i'm not sure if i should get gold mode or not.

It's very similar to Blonde's Gold pigment that just came out with Overrich.

That's what I thought. I have Blonde's Gold. I'll skip Gold Mode.

I used to buy eyeshadow & pigment without thinking & when I came home I found a replica of the color.

I think I've decided to skip this collection . . . with all the stuff I want from Luxe/Monogram, and Dame Edna coming, the new LE lashes, I think metallic cream shadows with a dubious formula are not high up on my list of "needs." Haha.

I'm skipping this collection too. I hate the liquid last liner. I don't need glitter liners.. or these pigments either.

And I hated Metal-x lol.

I..........think Ill be skipping this. Im pretty sure the shadows wont go anywhere fast...Ill wait til I know if they crease or not, then MAYBE ill pick one up....

I dont buy pigments, dont need the liners. id buy the liners if they were glitter.

I really am curious about these metal-x if they're very different from last year! I have 4 in my budget but I may end up w/ just 2 if they're only so-so and spend the extra on something else worthwhile.

first, a few bits of info on these guys.

they are the same formula as metal-x. there is no reformulation. the difference between these and metal-x are new colors (with a couple of the old), and a new design pressed in - where metal-x had parallel lines, these have lines beginning at a single point, kinda like a seashell effect.

they are supposed to crease. they are meant for that rock-n-roll smudge-y look. if you don't want them to crease, use a LL as a base first. if that's too hard for you to remove, apply a CCB first, then LL, then MU. this is supposed to prevent creasing but allows wipes to remove it.

as promised...

Thanks for the swatches Erine! I have nothing to buy from this collection(good for my wallet I guess) I think a lot of people are going to be upset that this is the same formulation as last season.
