I did what lara suggested last year -- let them dry out and they're like regular shadows and don't crease. That's what I did and now that they've been tamed, they're a breeze to work with and NO creasing!

Let 'em dry out too much and they get bloody crumbly - and still crease!

I always wondered why I always saw these in sale posts but I guess with the creasing info it makes sense. I was kind of wanting to try one or two but now I'm not sure.

Peeps I don't know what to do...I have been looking forward to these metal-x for half the year - I bought a couple last year and returned them b/c I didn't know how to use them, but I've seen a friend pull them off really well by simply using a teeny tiny bit...so I really want these now, and have been budgeting to get 4 of them, but now after seeing everyone's opinion, I'm worried it might be a mistake to get them...

Should I risk it?

If you are really interested, you can certainly try one. Just make sure to use a reeeeally good base underneath it!

i really like the metal x shadows. they do not crease on me. Mind you i don;t have especially oily lids. they have there moments, but usually i use a couple of bases and im good. I use UDPP or a paint with a shadestick and the cream shadow patter over. they're lovely for me.

If you find they have dried out, microwave them and theyre good as new!!!

The collection looks gorgeous!!!!! I'm trying so hard to not try to get them but I will end up getting some of the products from the Metal Urge collection. Pink Platinum looks amazing!!

I have always had terrible luck with creasing on these. My skin is oily but these were virtual makeup soup in my crease in 2 seconds flat!

I will be passing on these but picking up the pigments...I love pigments and can never pass on them ever!

In the product swapt forum it shows that 3-4 collections were going to come out on Nov. 8 including this one, but the others did already and this one havent yet, why>?
