I have been wearing this for almost a week now. I must say that the irritation on my forehead is no longer a problem. This is my HG for sure. On me this foundation is not dewy. I have normal to dry skin and I do get a lil oil on my nose from time to time but this makeup is sorta velvet on me. I agree with Vlcatko the match is just pefect and very skin like.

Just like your skin but better

I would not be afraid to try it if I were you. I was worried about the finish and that it would make me look oily/shiny but setting it with MSFN takes most of the dewiness away and leaves you with this amazing natural looking finish...

Sigh...

I am still in love with this foundation as you can probably tell from my ramblings

Thanks! I think I'll go with NW15 then, worst case scenario is that I might have to return it, but oh well.

I live so far away from a MAC store that I've never been properly color matched, so I just have to make a guess. I'm NC15 in Studio Sculpt which is still a bit dark, but I'm the only one that notices I think. The NW15 in Studio Sculpt was orange on me. For studio Fix powder foundation NW15 works in the morning when I first put it on, but oxidizes terribly on me, so I usually use N3 which is perfect. I think that's my problem, I'm more of a neutral skin tone.

I just got the 130 and Mineralize Foundation SPF15 recently and though I haven't tried them out yet, I'm so excited to. i've been hearing so many great things about this for dry skin which is what I have. And I can't believe how adorable that brush is!

Ohhh I wouldn't have thought to try on my eyes! I'm dying to try it for my creme blushes as well, and i've heard it's also good for blending out concealer.

Ugh I wish my order for this would ship already. I'm using Studio Fix Fluid right now and I think the bottle has oxidized a bit and it's just too dark for me in NW15. I feel odd wearing it right now. I'm hoping this foundation in NW15 is nice and light.

And I'm actually excited to read that this might be good for dry skin because I just started the Murad acne treatment and my skin is sooooo dry from it.

I went yesterday to get color matched. I am a NC20 in studio fix plus powder foundation, and select sheer. I knew it could run dark, so I didn't want to buy online and get the wrong color.
So the MA tried NC15, NC20, and NW15 or 20 on me to be sure. She said the 15 was too light and made me look ashy. She agreed as long as I buffed in the NC20 that was the color for me still.
I am still thinking about getting the brush. I would right away if I had the money...Sigh... I did buy some random duo fibre brush from target awhile ago, its more dense than the mac one, but the fibre's are longer than the LE one at MAC.
I used it this morning with the target brush, but first applied prep and prime and a bit of strobe cream, and it went on really well.

It reminds me of Diorskin Nude foundation in that it is dewy and looks like you aren't wearing anything, but yet it evens everything out.

I am super glad I got it. Even if I didn't need new foundation right now.

The MA told me that it was tested during LA and NY fashion week , and they used strobe cream with it... Adding strobe cream or liquid or a foundation primer also helps to sheer the color out even more , which makes it match your skin tone even better.

I am normal skin but I lean on the dry side.

Ok, so I hope you guys want to help me out here :

I am an :

N1 in Face & Body
NW100 in Hyper Real
NW15 in Studio Sculpt
NC15 - NW15 (I mix) in Studio Fix Fluid

What do you think will be the closest match in Mineralize ?

I live in Belgium and don't have a store near me (

Well I finally used the foundation today with the brush and LOVE it! I was a NW20 in the Studio Fluid and it was always too dark/yellow. This is pretty darn close to my skin....still a tad yellow but closer then the Studio Fix. I am certain like the MUA told me too that the NW15 would've been too light. Its by far the best foundation I've ever had. It looks almost airbrushed on to me....almost

I usually wear NC44 in Studio Fix Fluid, but NC44 in this foundation was too dark for me, so I was color matched to NC42. It looked ok in the MAC store, but when I got home and took a picture you could really tell that it was too light.

I really like the way this foundation makes my skin look and it is so light weight. I just wish there was an NC43.

I'm going to have to return it =(

Im a little "iffy" with this foundation!
th_dunno.gif
I've tried it with a million brushes. And I ended up buying the 130 to see if it makes a difference. This foundation so far for me is so so, but nothing great. I was matched as NW20, which is what I am in Studio Sculpt concealer. I don't use any other MAC liquid foundations as I usually only use MAC's MSFN (which I LOVE). I don't know if it's the color that's bothering me too. It seems a bit on the orange side, maybe I will go check out the other shades again. I won't give up on this foundation yet as I will give it a fair chance! But I still think my Dior and Lancome foundations are way better than this!

I love the fact that it's so creamy and light. But there's just something I'm not too crazy about and I just can't pin point what it is
th_dunno.gif
, but when I put it on, I'm not seeing myself looking in the mirror going
drools.gif
or
love.gif
hahahaha. My results are WAYYYYYYY better with my Dior and Lancome liquid foundations! I just wanted this to work because I liked the fact that it was a compact and I could carry it in my purse!
I think I will give it a try tomorrow again and NOT use Prep and Prime Skin Refined Zone underneath- maybe that might make a difference!

I bought the 130 brush this weekend and I've come to realize that I don't prefer using the 130 as my foundation brush as it is too small. (I like way bigger brushes for foundation) My fave is Dior's powder brush
drools.gif
. Don't know why it's being discontinued
ssad.gif
, but anyway, I really do like the 130 brush for applying foundation around the nose area and for applying concealer. I just REALLY LOVE how it applies foundation around the nose
thmbup.gif
. Is this a good enough reason to keep such an expensive brush?????
th_dunno.gif
lololol

For those of you that have the brush- does yours shed????? MINE SHEDS LIKE CRAZYYYYYY
thmbdn.gif
thmbdn.gif
My Dior powder foundation brush does, too
ssad.gif
, but the results are flawless so I really don't care
lol.gif
. But for the 130 brush, bein that it's such a small brush, some of the hairs are so small I can't even grab it with my nail- I have to use a tweezer. I don't recall anyone else complaining about this. Did I maybe get a defected one?????

I kind of have the same problem with the 130 and the foundation. So no, you are not the only one having a very expensive concealer brush
winks.gif

Normally I also use MSFN and love it.
When I apply the foundation with the 187 or the SS197, I love the results. Also with the 190 it is ok, just not with the 130
th_dunno.gif

And no, my brush is not shedding.

I am loving this for days when I need a bit more coverage than I get with Face and Body. The brush really does give it a lovely finish. And, no, my brush does not shed.

don't go by a photo to tell if its the right match. the spf in it can cause you to photograph a few shades lighter. go by what it looks like in real life, in whatever lighting you're in most of the time.
