The one that drove me crazy is bitter smh. I ended it up breaking up into a loose eyeshadow works a little better smh.
I had this love hate relationship with Chrome Yellow at one point. Found out I needed a stickier base to make it work the way I envisioned it. Now I love it. However I think my Violet Trance needs an exorcist.

Of course, I'm also a fan of good staple eyeshadow colors with great formulas, even if they aren't the most unique colors out there.

You really thought DF was dupeable? Of course, it's like my idea color so of course I'm biased.  I just find it perfect.
I love brown shades and it is my ideal color aswell. Looks fantastic on brown eyes. All of them would. No offense but every single shadow is dupeable to another brand or palette. But that's just me it seems :)

Sorry to all those who love them. They are just meh to me!
Yeah the shades are pretty but very dupable IMO, so the novelty actually wears off when you see them!

Try Lush extract and Phosphorescent if you can and tell me which to pick!

Not just you at all! Lots of people feel that way. I do think DF is quite unique, though. The only color that I think might be a dupe is Garnet from the Lorac Pro Palette and I forgot to compare it. DF shows up VERY red toned on my eyes, which I personally love. Colors like Antiqued, even though they may seem similar in swatches, don't look the same on my eye at all.

I have to say I agree. Most of the colors I have something similar. I almost bought the teal and the purple one. Still might this doesn't look like its going anywhere fast.
I almost bought AL and DF...but went to swatch and compare and yup sure enough only smidge differences between some shadows. They are pretty and for sure aren't going anywhere fast  if I change my mind I know they'll be there

DF is pretty on you. And most of the girls are wearing it looks nice on them too.

Yes, they will last a while. DF is quite different once you put it on the eye, though. Here is a screenshot from my video:

Antiqued doesn't look like this at all on me once I put it on my eye. It doesn't have the rosy red undertone this has. I hate to even call it an undertone because it is so strong, so... overtone?

I hate hearing that Deep Fixation didn't feel soft when you swatched it. The one I received is very buttery. It is more matte in comparison to Antiqued, though. Those really frosty shades are often quite buttery. I love antiqued, but I like how Deep Fixation pulls more red while Antiqued pulls more orange-brown. I feel like Artistic License is much less orange than Expensive Pink, too, but I think they would pair well together. I don't have Urban Decay's X. I love Hidden Motive, too. I need to look into the Grape Pigment if they are similar.

Lucky Green is a fun shadow and it has a great formula. I need to find more ways to wear it, though. I'm a little intimidated by it sometimes. I think it might look really pretty with teals like Green Room. I'll have to try that next.
Yeahh I don't know it was the display or what but It did not feel as buttery as the other Velux pearl shades And yes I do agree that it does not have as much sheen as Antiqued. Surprisingly Antiqued and DF looked identical on my skin in terms of color, besides the texture difference, I even tried them in different light settings.
Expensive Pink is darker deeper shade that AL , X - I think is lighter and has very very slight hint of more gold in it than pink, but it is barely noticeable , at least again on my skin.
In terms of Grape pigment and HM - i think grape has the same color sheen as the HM - so when i thought of that it was a skip.

The bright colors like Lucky green, i find using them with Peachy/Orangy/ Brown shades and it looks amazing, or i just use it as an accent color of fun on my lower lash line.

That's one that always seems to work better on fair skin. It shows up a lot better then. When I've watched the darker skinned lovelies try to put it on (without a white base) it always seems to show up as just a sickly wash.
Yup, I have to put a white base for that one, but it still shows up now that I've broke it down. In the pan forget it!

So I ended up placing an order for BI, Copperthorn, and WW. Except it was really weird I never got confirmation. I called mac and she says it went through. I told her to cancel it and I would just go in store. She said she would try but it wasn't for sure. Well, I haven't received cancellation notice so now I don't know if I should go in store or not. haha I made a big mess.

Unfortunately, I think Deep Fixation has to be tried on the eye before it can really be appreciated for how unique it is. The red shows up so much more then. Of course I'm not sure what your skin tone is so that might make a big difference.

Can anyone compare DF to Carbonized from the MAC Me Over Collection.
I don't have it, but I just looked at swatches online and I can tell you that they won't be even close. DF seriously borders on being a red eyeshadow once you put it on the eye. However, taking your deeper skin tone into account, perhaps it won't be as extreme.
