October Violet I am so sorry to hear about your kitty. Pets are such a blessing in our lives. And I'm sure you were a blessing in his life. I prefer F/L's like Avenue and Dark Envy. Colors with a stronger/darker/denser underlying color. Instead of Glittery thinner ones like Little black bow and It's physical. They seem not to work as well with my sensitive eyes. So I might just stick with picking up macro violet. Still interested in Black Ivy and Copperthorn though!

Thank you, everyone for your condolences on the passing of my sweet baby boy Maurice. I'm still very upset by it. I love this place. We share a love of makeup, animals, tv, movies, hunks, etc. It's nice to belong somewhere where your interests/addicitons aren't considered weird.

October Violet, I am really sorry to hear about your cat. I would be distraught and can imagine it will take some time to stop feeling sad. It makes me want to go seek out one of the furballs that live with me and give them a cuddle. I know your future has another kitty for you to love.

I was planning on picking up some of the fluidlines but I don't wear the one I have (blacktrack). I haven't felt like wearing eyeliner in a couple months. Copperthorn was the only one I was still considering before I made the decision to skip all of the June collections. I always ignore the permanent range in favor of the limited edition hype so I plan to pick up some permanent things I've been wanting instead. I'm not in love with anything that's coming out. I'll still be following the threads and seeing what everyone ends up picking up! More goodies for everyone else!!!

That is one gorgeous green lippie. What brand is it from? Sorry if it has been mentioned. I'm not doing too well today. Between the loss of my kitty on Monday, stress from work, plus extra training and my computer is acting up. Just not doing too well.:crybaby:

So sorry to hear about the loss of your kitty! Pardon me if you've already wrote about it. Was your kitty sick for long or was this unexpected? It is so hard to lose a loved pet. I lost my first very beloved kitty a year and a 1/2 ago. She was 18 and had kidney disease, so I knew it was coming soon, but that didn't make it easier. Honestly I've never felt such grief. I was surprised by how deeply it hurt when they told me she wouldn't make it through the night. So I understand how hard it is. I hope that everything else in your life gets better soon. If you ever want to talk privately please send me a message. Big hugs to you! :support:

Dark Diversion doesn't have sparkle and, i think, it's a bit darker than Nightshade, but it looks... uh... more satiny? Here is a swatch of DD from Temptalia on the left And on the right, again, mackarrie's swatches of sparkly Nightshade and more matte Macroviolet
Ooh, I love DD! Beautiful! I wish that I had it!

@burghchick, Maurice suffered a stroke back in November. He couldn't move his mouth and couldn't walk. I thought he was a gonna within a day or two because he wasn't drinking water or eating anything. Some miracle happened and my baby started eating and drinking again. He lost all use of his lower half though. He would just use his front paws to do everything. He was a trooper. He even played with my newest kitten Finnegan when Finn wanted to play. On Sunday night we cuddled together on the couch and I whispered to him that if he needed to go to feel better I was alright with that. I would meet him again up in Heaven. I was just saying that to comfort him. On Monday night, he passed away. I knew it was coming, but in my heart I just figured I had more time with him. I was surprised he managed to do so well for the last six months. He would have been 15 years old on August 24th. I am sorry to hear about your kitty. It's losing a family member to us fur mommies.

I've been using Caramel Cool Color Tattoo (Maybelline) as a copper eyeliner lately and its working pretty well for me for that, so I think I will skip Copperthorn......
