RIP to your sweet little kitty Maurice.Thank you, everyone for your condolences on the passing of my sweet baby boy Maurice. I'm still very upset by it. I love this place. We share a love of makeup, animals, tv, movies, hunks, etc. It's nice to belong somewhere where your interests/addicitons aren't considered weird.![]()
Awww this mad me cry! Hugs! I am sorry about Maurice, but I'm glad he got that extra time with you.@burghchick , Maurice suffered a stroke back in November. He couldn't move his mouth and couldn't walk. I thought he was a gonna within a day or two because he wasn't drinking water or eating anything. Some miracle happened and my baby started eating and drinking again. He lost all use of his lower half though. He would just use his front paws to do everything. He was a trooper. He even played with my newest kitten Finnegan when Finn wanted to play. On Sunday night we cuddled together on the couch and I whispered to him that if he needed to go to feel better I was alright with that. I would meet him again up in Heaven. I was just saying that to comfort him. On Monday night, he passed away. I knew it was coming, but in my heart I just figured I had more time with him. I was surprised he managed to do so well for the last six months. He would have been 15 years old on August 24th. I am sorry to hear about your kitty. It's losing a family member to us fur mommies.
Thank you Nadine. I'm still on the fence about the SS lippies. I'm hearing mixed reviews on them. Should I try at least one? Or wait for a future mattene to be in a collection? Help.
Those shadows!!!! Yes! I was just thinking that we haven't really gotten any new shadows lately (I mean regular pan shadows, not ED or mineralized)
They're a gel based lippie. If you like that kind of texture than you'll like the SSs. They a medium coverage, high shine lippie. But you have to be careful with the warmer weather cuz they melt very easily and are super smooshy!Thank you Nadine. I'm still on the fence about the SS lippies. Fluidlines :train:
Thank you for sharing, it sounds good !
LOL I was wondering if my memory of this formula was correct because I only picked this up one time in the store to swatch in the color Happy Hibiscus (doesnt that color sound perfect to bring back for this collection???) and I liked it but it really did feel like a delicate stick of butter that was left out all day! They're a gel based lippie. yep!VP stands for Veluxe Pearl right?
Yes girl! Do you like the VP formula? After seeing this picture I may have to pick up a couple more thing from this collection. I definitely will pick up copperthorn and worldly wealth. I am also considering three or four of the eye shadows. I will wait on swatches. VP stands for Veluxe Pearl right?
The best way to deal with Sheen Supremes is to hardly twist them up, so it's almost level with the casing, then pat it on, rather than swipe. This prevents the dangers of smooshing, plus it also gets the lipstick on in the least greasy way.LOL I was wondering if my memory of this formula was correct because I only picked this up one time in the store to swatch in the color Happy Hibiscus (doesnt that color sound perfect to bring back for this collection???) and I liked it but it really did feel like a delicate stick of butter that was left out all day!
Im still gonna go for one of these as it sounds like they are a lil moisturizing and I like the sound of that!
I agree. It's really pretty but it's not something I would use myself. The pink blush is brighter than I hoped, so it's definitely a skip for me now.The gold fluidline really stands out to me. Everything else might be a skip.
Good tips! Hmm so after hearing your tips I may try them again! I would like to try and make them work. The best way to deal with Sheen Supremes is to hardly twist them up, so it's almost level with the casing, then pat it on, rather than swipe. I'm a SS fan to a certain extent - I don't like every type of color in the formula, but the fun summery colors are always a good bet.
:agree: I only use black eyeliner but I think this one would be nice to own (for those special occasions). I'm so bummed that I'm almost done with TPC. It really is the perfect everyday blush, and I didn't get a backup .I agree. It's really pretty but it's not something I would use myself. The pink blush is brighter than I hoped, so it's definitely a skip for me now. MAC hasn't come out with a nice blush in a while, I would like to see a matte neutral one, along the lines of The Perfect Cheek and Pink Cult, as well as a plum or wine shade with a Satin finish. Would be nice for fall. A fall version of the Tres Cheek collection pretty please! :cheer:
