Yeah That eye look is totally gorgeous. I love that Avi! :flower:
Aww thank you!
No I didn't. But I have enough shadows to make something similar.
Oh good!
But why did it need to be blended more? Wouldn't that muddy all the colors together? I would love to see your interpretation of this, to see the difference.  yeah, I'm definitely getting the YSL one instead
It needs blended more cuz it's still too stripe-y. The connection lines are too distinct. You want them to blend nicely into each other. As long as there's a good base underneath, they won't become muddy. And I'm ordering AL and GR, so I'd be happy to post a similar look.

I'd love to hear what brushes you like best for cut crease and general blending. Green Room is going to look BEYOND on you!

Thanks doll! I'm excited to get it! I love those dark, sooty green shades! For a cut crease i like the 209, 217, 219, 266 and of course the 239 for the lid (my HG lid brush) For blending i always use a 217 and 224. I apply colour and do initial blending with a 217, and then go in and blend more with a 224. Then i just rotate back and forth between the two. I'm not a fan of applying colour with the 224, so i only use it to blend.

I am skipping GR because I have the duo it was rumored to be in and JW too.
Are you thinking those duos from Reel Sexy? There was a nice teal in one of them, but let me tell you, this Green Room is waaaaaaay beyond that one. Much more pigmented and easier to blend, plus an overall richer color too. I don't buy a lot of green or teal shadows because I'm super picky about them, but GR is the sh1t. If you bought the Fall forecast '14 eye palette, the green in that one is rather similar in color, if you're just looking for a color dupe, but it sure doesn't handle the same way GR does. GR looks amazing over it as a base, btw.

The one from RS was matte though, this is a VP I think. Smooth as can be.

this is the one I bought in a duo in 2011 called green room.
I remember when that came out - I can't remember if it was a US release or not, but I think it wasn't. Some people thought it was brought out in the States in one of the Reel Sexy duos, but that one didn't have a name. Your swatch seems to have a lot more sheen in it than this Green Room.

I'd say if you have this one, and you already don't wear it too often, there's no big deal to get Green Room from this collection. If you adore green and want one that is crazy pigmented and blends like a charm and looks VERY matte when applied (even over bare skin), this GR will be a great upgrade to other similar colors you have. I'm very into Moody Blooms GR, but I'm also lucky to not have a shade like it already - every time one would come around, it was a little too stiff or a little too green or too black or too dry. I'm like Goldilocks when it comes to green eyeshadow.

I depotted the Duo it was in and can't remember now if it was one of the one's hubby got me when he was not in the US much or not, but I was thinking I had him track this one down. Who knows now. I know if I don't remember he for sure won't.

Her photos didn't do it justice - honestly, it's so much better live and on the lips, but it's definitely sheer.

When you're wearing it, you will see plum and a little red and gold along with the bronze, depending on how the light hits it - it's seriously multi-chrome. It might be so-so on fair NWs because of all the bronze, which is quite warm, and it also may be better on fuller lips, so that there's more surface area to show off the effect, but overall, it's so unusual!! I can't wait to bring it home.
Liba, can you compare it to "Oh, Oh, Oh"...

I think I'm the only one not stalking for this. lol.  I don't think it'll be an immediate sell out by any means and it probably won't be hard to acquire anything you may be wanting from this collection. So stalking may or may not be required at all for this. :2cents:
Not stalking either. If BI is up when I happen to check I'll get it then. If not I'll go to the store. What's on your list?
Same here. Green Room and GI for me, maybe Phosphorescent and BfB. Or maybe nothing. Feeling a little meh because I already have similar colors for most of it.

Mac Guy, Liba or Erine, any must haves for the pale NWs? My collection isgetting out of hand so I am trying to limit myself to the truly unique items.
