The lipsticks are so idk plain looking to me.Thanks, Liba! I honestly probably won't get any of the lipsticks. I like the unique factor from Moody Bloom, but I probably won't get it. The lipsticks just aren't calling to me.

Agreed!Black Ivy is stunning and needs to be bought by eeveryone![]()
very plain. :sigh:The lipsticks are so idk plain looking to me.
Yeah, I just feel like I have a dupe for all of these already, except for possibly Moody Bloom. There are some pretty shades for sure, but nothing exciting for me personally. The lipsticks are so idk plain looking to me.
Same! Just not exciting enough for me aswell. That and I dislike the formula.Yeah, I just feel like I have a dupe for all of these already, except for possibly Moody Bloom. There are some pretty shades for sure, but nothing exciting for me personally.
If you have zero hot pink blushes, BFB is just about the best one I've ever seen from MAC. Worldy Wealth is really nice and will look great on you, but BFB is next level in terms of quality - it's a color MAC seems to do at least once or twice a year, but this is a particularly easy to use version for sure. I am passing on it, but will probably break down and get it if it ever comes back - by then I'll have gotten through more of the couple of hot pink blushes I already have.Worldly Wealth I'm thinking is my only definite with BI & BFB as maybes. BFB is mainly because I realized I have 0 pink blushes. Lol. Liba has me slightly interested in checking out MB SS as well.
I've never tried it. Is it really runny? I mean, is it going to bleed all over the place? The shape of it alone is enough to turn me off...Same! Just not exciting enough for me aswell. That and I dislike the formula.
HG status you say? I'm definitely going to give it a fondling at the counter now! I'm betting that look is gonna look lovely on you!If you have zero hot pink blushes, BFB is just about the best one I've ever seen from MAC. I am predicting it'll become an HG for you for every day. It sure will for me! A look I am so ready to actually wear out is going to be MB on the lips, WW on the cheeks, and BI + Green Room on the eyes.
That will be a beautiful combo! I considered Green Room but I feel like I have a couple similar colors. Hearing the good things about the formula almost makes me interested anyway, thoughIf you have zero hot pink blushes, BFB is just about the best one I've ever seen from MAC. The shape and the flat top don't work for me. I actually bought one. It wasn't as runny as I thought. It bleed a little but had no real staying power. That and it melts incredibly fast compared to a regular lipstick even a lustre holds up better imo!I've never tried it. Is it really runny? I mean, is it going to bleed all over the place? Meh. I feel like I should give one a try just to say I did, but who knows. Maybe since MB isn't very pigmented then my natural pigmentation with come through and make it more flattering on me? Eh, idk if it's worth it as it will probably sit in the back of my stash along with my pro longwears. I just hate that shape. We don't get along, either, so I know what you mean. Or maybe I'll get it last minute anyway. LMAOI actually bought one. It wasn't as runny as I thought. It bleed a little but had no real staying power. None of them photograph well. They have that same thing going on that the Huggables did, in that they're subtly translucent so light comes in in this stained glass way, making the colors just GLOW. I'm not going to say the colors are things we've never seen before (other than MB), but these are the best SSs out there in terms of smoothness, pigmentation and brilliant color. This whole collection (other than BI) is very try before buy, but trying in person will probably separate out a few real winners uniquely for each person. Thanks, Liba! I feel pretty confident we'll see this multichrome thing happening again, maybe even in a lipstick formula rather than the sort of hybrid SS style.
I really don't think anyone who buys it will be disappointed, unless you strongly avoid anything green around your eyes.Black Ivy is stunning and needs to be bought by eeveryone![]()

I'm all for that... multichrome anything! Lipsticks, eyeshadows, etcI feel pretty confident we'll see this multichrome thing happening again, maybe even in a lipstick formula rather than the sort of hybrid SS style.

MB is sheer, but that doesn't mean it's not pigmented. It works more like the pearlescent glosses from AA, where from one angle, you may see a lot of sheerness and from another angle it looks solidly opaque. I just don't want you to be disappointed with a color that's not "you" or doesn't work with your skin tone. You could definitely wear it over a plum lip pencil to wrangle it into shape, if you want to work at it, but best bet is to see it in person if possible or just save a few pennies and hold off, if you've been feeling over extended.Meh. I love green around my eyes. I am for sure giving this collection a try before I fully buy. I want to make sure the lipsticks aren't for me. I am willing to try them again perhaps they preform better than the one I had bought. I am willing to look at all.I feel pretty confident we'll see this multichrome thing happening again, maybe even in a lipstick formula rather than the sort of hybrid SS style.

I will say if you can by any chance go in store and still try them out.Meh. I feel like I should give one a try just to say I did, but who knows. Oh those SS testers are the things nightmares are made of at times which is probably why I've never really tried them before. I'm definitely interested in trying MB though if possible and I'm looking forward to your pic. They can get soft in heat - I will carry one in my purse if I'm wearing it and need touch ups, but I wouldn't want to leave it in a hot car. They're soft too - a little similar to how the Huggables feel when they heat up on the lips, but unlike the Huggables, which are stiffer until they touch the lips. The best thing I do is not twist them up out of the tube except just a fraction, and pat them onto the lips instead of swiping. One good thing is after you've used them a few times, that flat top starts to conform to your own lip shape and application style. I don't have tons of SSs, but one of them is an all-time favorite (Sheer Mandarin). This particular group of them are a little stiffer and less bleedy than many other bright SSs. I don't pick mine up until Thurs but I will try to post a picture. I can guarantee you my crappy picture won't capture what's so great about it. I think it's going to match your skin tone in an amazing way, so definitely check it out (hopefully before the tester is disgustingly gross). I've resisted all the similar ones to Green Room over the years - none were quite right for me, too much blue or too much green, or too light or dark or too shimmery. I've been waiting for one just like this for a very long time. MB is sheer, but that doesn't mean it's not pigmented.
