MAC Moody Blooms Collection (June 26, 2014)

I just initiated an online chat and the agent said that it was pushed back to be released both online and in stores on the 26th.

Wonder how close Lust Extract is to Asian Flower from the permanent collection? That's the only Sheen Supreme that I have, but I do like it.

Better texture - goes on smoother and more opaque than AF. Asian Flower's color is more blue and a little lighter and not quite as bright.

I don't know if I'd call it a must have, but if you love colors like Playtime, you're definitely going to be into LE. I don't buy every version of this color that MAC churns out, but I thought this one was more my style than some of the others. Go see it in person?

Nothing at all. I prefer it. Their launch dates are always accurate. But since it is their product, MAC really should have it together.

Lucky Green and Quite the Thing have changed position on the site. I am not sure when that happened but they moved to the top.

As of the writing of this message, Moody Bloom collection was not on the MAC US site.

I ordered from Nordstrom yesterday - did it from my cell phone - that was sheer torture!
Got a msg today that it has shipped (i sent it to my landlady downstairs)! Now i can fly to Bali, relieved that my makeup addiction has been satisfied.

Moody Bloom Sheen Supreme Lipstick
because Liba raved about it and i won't be able to test in-store; i'm hoping with my neutral coloring it will look OK.
None of the other colors were my type, except the on-line only one and i have enough others like it.

I already own Lucky Green and i think cool bright green is not my best color.
I normally don't buy much dark eyeshadow, but so many here assured us that DF has an interesting dept of color and i like brown... And the swatches of Hidden Motive looked rather multi-dimensional, too, so even though it's dark it will probably work.

These were all no-brainers for me. I feel confident i can apply Copperthorn without problems, unlike Temptalia's swatches which made it look pretty bad.

Of course, i won't get to see my treasures for 3-1/2 weeks!!! And then within 4 days of returning to the US i'm going on a 2+ week camping trip, i won't get to wear any of these until September!

When I called MAC this morning (Sorry I'm just writing this now, work has been a mad house) they told me the online launch has been moved to Thursday so I'll see everyone tomorrow night for the third night of stalking?

I ended up ordering from Nordstrom. I got impatient and I'm having it overnighted, so I should have swatches up tomorrow. My list: All the fluidlines, all the eyeshadows (I already have Lucky Green), and Moody Bloom lipstick.

I think I'll be grabbing it in person too. Was only planning to order Black Ivy online and then get the other things in store once I saw them, but only makes sense to grab it all in store now!

That will be my first sheen supreme, too! Liba pointed out that there are probably better shades in the collection for my coloring, but I just feel like I have something similar to everything else. Moody Bloom intrigues me.

I am wearing my old ones this week to see if I will enjoy these or not. I am still unsure.
