The airport transporter will be here a couple hours. I'm on pins and needles. I'm in a group that performs Balinese music and dance. We had 4 performances on June 12th-15th with the San Francisco Symphony - Michael Tilson Thomas, their world renowned conductor, hung out with us a bit back stage - it was thrilling.

Now nearly all of us - about 62 people - plus an equal number of SOs and children (over 120 people - a lot to wrangle) - are going to Bali to celebrate our organization's 35 anniversary, because 35 is an important number on Bali, and to honor all our music and dance teachers over the decades.

We'll be rehearsing from the 2nd thru 6th, then performing in a government Arts Festival on the 7th.
We have ONE free day on the 8th.
More rehearsals 9th-11th, then we participate in a temple festival on the 12th.
Rehearse on the 13th, then a 4-hr drive to perform in North Bali on the 14th.
Then on the 15th back near our base, we participate in another temple festival.
And there will be a closing get-together on the 16th.

I'm going a little early because i often catch a virus on a 20 hour plane ride - if i do i'll want to recover. If not, I'll have a few free days before we begin rehearsing. And one free day after it's all over before i fly home. So, no lounging in spas and on the beach. But being part of several temple festivals is so absolutely worth it all.

That sounds amazing! I hope you get a chance to take lots of pictures! Ugh, I flew to the Philippines when I was younger and those 20+ hour flights are no joke, good luck!

Since monday morning! MAC is putting it up tonight. Yea two stalking parties happened and nada showed up on MAC lol How you doing? :heart:
