MAC Moody Blooms Collection (June 26, 2014)

I liked winter until I moved to Kentucky... especially this past winter. Ugh, hated it so much. I'm ready to move back to South Carolina!

Fall is much more magical here, though.
Kentucky is referred as the " blue grass state ", sounds pretty . I wish I could visit the US, as I said France = Texas, it's the biggest state in the US I think but France is small ( but beautiful ^^), winters can be very cold -25 is not uncommon in the east, here quite the opposite generally mild and very damp. Summers can be awful here !

Just got back from Mac and can I say that I LOVE this collection! Am absolutely smitten with Phosphorescent and Phereomonal, along with Black Ivy. The lippies are both unique pinks on my lips and both GORGEOUS! They can be totally built up or worn sheer. I also grabbed Moody Blooms because when I tried it on, the girls went crazy---LOL! It is absolutely beautiful in person and somehow the pigmentation in my lips makes it a bit berry colored. Anyhoo, it's gorgeous.

Am also happy to report that BfB is THE BOMB! I have a bit of a tan now from working in the garden so much, and they put it on my cheeks---WOWZA! It's so fresh and gorgeous I cannot say how much I love it! I am regularly NC30 for reference. They said that Mac hasn't put out a blush like this in something like 7 years----if your on the fence, I say grab it!

I also ended up getting copperthorn because the makeup artist was wearing it and I have seriously been into rose gold lately---it is spectacular on and I know I will totally wear it!

Also grabbed artistic license---much more gold than pink and also a winner for me since I like my neutrals and this works really well with them.

All in all, I ended up getting more than I thought, but trying it all on is great and I am SO so happy with my choices!

Yay!

Just got back from Nordstrom and I was super naughty. Haha. I didn't like this collection as much in real life, so I thought I'd splurge on the two items I loved and then some other things.

I bought too much stuff... This isn't even everything. Yikes.

Copperthorn, Lust Extract, and Hue's over there to the right.

I loveeeee Lust Extract. And copperthorn is beautiful. I might redo my makeup so I can use it haha

Gorgeous, ladies

Kentucky is beautiful. The landscape is amazing. I moved here to be closer to my husband's family. Kentucky has very distinct seasons which is quite different from where I'm from in South Carolina where it was summer for half the year and the other half of the year was a spring/fall/winter hybrid. France would be an amazing place to visit one day!

I'm a little nervous for my MB since it's in the 90s here, but I'll be home all day, so I can intercept my package and throw my little buddy into the fridge.

So I caved (as usual) and ordered BI and MB this morning, then randomly ended up at the counter and swatched MB. I showed up a little after lunch and the display was untouched.

Here's my super serious MB swatch face (NC42-44):

I'm actually really liking the formula, it's light and the color is a beautiful bronze/plum on my pigmented lips. Perfect quick lippie for summer (if I can keep it from melting - thanks Florida!)

Nothing alike really, especially on application, where most of the red in beauty marked disappears Those two aren't comparable at all.
