Black Ivy is darn beautiful.

I agree! @lipstickaddict mentioned earlier that it's beautiful with just mascara and I concur. I'm wearing it tonight with green room over the lid and tempting blended into the crease and it's created this beautiful smoky green to bronze gradient. I'd take a photo, but my eyes are borderline bloodshot from a 4 year-old with wonky sleeping habits, no one wants to see that.


Let's ignore the fact that I said I was skipping things. I'm working on it.

I agree. The one I saw yesterday was not like the one from SS in my mind but I did have my old one to compare it to.

A LOT. It seemed very different in texture too, almost silkier which might have been a good thing but more sheen too that did not look like the original.

Here's a comparison between the Styleseeker version and the new one from Temptalia:


Sure the lighting is a little brighter, but there's definitely a difference. I didn't even bother swatching it at my store since I have it. I feel bad since I recommended it so much, but the new one does seem lighter and frostier

I was willing to look past the frost as it didn't look too bad this morning, but now my pores look amplified by a million and now look like a bunch of mini disco balls. It's horrible. I MIGHT be able to use it as some sort of highlighter, but if not it's gone!

Boo! Sorry to hear that WW isn't working for you. The amount of frost caught me off guard, too. I was like, "Maybe I can use this as a highlighter?" Then I was like, "Maybe not". LOL! I love it blended with BfB, though. It reminds me of a more amplified Nars Orgasm.

And it looked more brown and less peachy too as far as i can tell from what i swatched. I have the original release and it did seem different when i swatched yest at the counter!!!!
