So I finally got off my ass and went to the counter. I swatched WW but decided to skip. It just wasn't doing it for me and nothing else caught my eye so I guess this collection is a skip. The MUA at the counter approached me and asked me if I was a MUA. I was like,"huh?" he said "Oh, it's because I see you here all the time so I figured you must be a professional MUA." Lol, I said "No, I'm just a makeup addict." Kinda wanted to hang my head in shame. I got out of there pretty quickly after that.

LOL. Hilarious.

I think I was in a state of shock. I just stared at her thinking wtf? Am I being punk'd? Where's the hidden camera? I don't know. Maybe it's because she was pregnant and hormonal ( Lord knows I've been there) but then she started going off on me about my choosing to keep my kids home with a nanny rather than put them in daycare. That's when I tuned her ass out.

That's not. The hell? I hope you read her. What is wrong with people?

Oh hell fucking no! What a damn punk ass!  this isn't as bad as yours but I have had a MUA tell me....."You should look at this color....you know.....because you are Mexican"  :shock:  she handed me Bittersweet l/l and a few other shades that are basically dark liner and clear gloss. 

Wow. Racists and I don't get along very well. I would have ripped her a new one.

She no longer works at her counter. Not because of me but I did complain. I had went back a month later the manager was there and explained she took it too far with another buyer and was fired.

Well that makes me feel really good considering I turn 34 next month! The pores on my nose are HUGE, though. I have to apply 2 or three coats of pore filler. I also have bad rosacea but thankfully I can cover it pretty easily

Do you just use a primer that fills? Do you mind me asking what product you use? I'll be 39 come August, and I hate my pores! Used to think my skin would improve with age but that unfortunately isn't so

I have the same problem. I use Dr. Brandt's Pres No More and it works very well. The joys of getting older, huh?

I was wondering this too, but I looked around a few days ago and I think they are very different. Her blooming cheek is much deeper magenta and Bred for beauty is more mid tone and blue based. Also, her blooming cheek is SOOOOO pigmented it can be hard for me to wear because I am so fair.

I have to mix two... Mont Blanc which is a bit too pink and Gobi which is a little too yellow.

Mandy you sound like my skin twin. I have the same issue with rosacea, pores, and I am about your complexion shade I think. I appreciate your posts about what works for you. I hope you keep doing swatches and videos and do not allow thieves to discourage you.

Anyone know a blush that's similar to WW in colour, but in a matte or satin finish?

I will take a look at what I have today but I think EL bronze goddess bronzer will be close. I have the original release WW from Style Seeker and no disco ball issues. If you love the color minus the ninja glitter particles of doom, I would recommend you hunt down a blush from the first release in the clearance bin? I think the color was nice on you. ♡

I caved: Hidden motive, Artistic License, Phosphorescent, and Copper thorn jumped into my cart with a 211 brush. I couldn't just leave them hanging like that.
