MAC Nudes & Metallics Collection (April 2013) Pro Store Only

To be fair, when I posted the initial information from the update book, it clearly stated Pro Store only for an April release.* It did not specify any online release, though we all assumed that it will also be available online. While it is frustrating to wait, we can only hope that it will show up online one day. I wouldn't be surprised if we find this collection at CCO's soon :)



* I'm not sure what happened to the Pro Store only designation in the title. I'm certain I put it in there. Maybe Richelle edited it out?

I did edit it out due to many asking corporate and pro cs if it would be online and all said yes. Now of course its nowhere to be found lol.

Will change it back.

Yes Mac-Guy I remember it saying pro store only as well. It was mainly other people that said it would be online then even the CS of Mac said it would. If it was never to be online CS should of said so instead of just confusing customers because you can tell me enough people didn't call for some one higher who would know this information was false would have found out about it and tell their CS the correct information ( if it was never going to be online) but instead Mac danced around the subject. Many people would have been sad to find out it wasn't going to be online but at least they would know and go well I missed that one but instead we feel as though this amazing collection is just in reach and we need to be patient. It feels like sitting at a bus stop ready to go home but the time the bus is suppose to come keeps being delayed only to find out it's never coming at you could have taken a taxi.

No one thinks the information that was given at the start was in any way misunderstood it was Mac itself that did it. I am very thankful for your post about the pro stores because without it I wouldn't have been lucky enough to get what I did by calling a pro store. So thank you for all the information you do post.

No need to change it back. I was not certain anymore if I had posted it in the title or not. I guess it doesn't matter anyway, so no worries.

When I initially heard about the line I was told it was Pro store only in April and online in June for Pros only. This was also reflected apparently in the press release that T and others received. And then further fueled by CS stating it would be online for pros only. At some point this month it became online and available for everyone. But there were a few CS I spoke with that said it was still pro only. They all told me the date was unknown a few times. No clue at this point. Hope for the best or (not the beat a dead horse) call to place an order.

I am very happy I didn't rely ONLY on the PRO STORE I normally deal with. This collection was a test and they failed for me. I went thru Dallas AND Las Vegas! I'm giving a bonus to one of my favorite PRO girls that has done great understanding my questions and being patient by giving her a Grey Friday Lipstick! I'm a little late, but I appreciate GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I'm late but at least the 800 Special orders was correct when she said they would have it and they usually have items the same time they are online too. Idk what happened but I know that I would not be surprised if this was not a "drop the ball" situation like it was for Rihanna with MAC. I hope the most of you got what you really wanted. Maybe we will see it again sooner than later

I hate to stir the pot, but how does the range of nude lipsticks compare with colors like 4N and 3N for you warm-undertoned ladies and gents? Because, I don't know if it was just me, the nudes of this collection put me in the mind of The N Collection and Warm & Cozy collection. TIA!! I noticed that most of the nude lipstick shades were compared to colors like Peachstock or Myth, and those colors are pure Tyrone Biggums on my golden NC50ish complexion.

The only nude I picked up was Wholesome. MAC keeps insisting that I'm NC45 but I'm not lol. I only have 3 nude MAC lipsticks left so here is a swatch of those (not sure if it will help at all)
