MAC - Opulash mascara Discussion

So I checked out this mascara @ Nordies and my God is it divine! It does remind me of Benefit's Bad Gal Mascara though, with the brush and forumla. But I say this is a lot better! I semi curled my lashes since I have stubborn straight thick lashes but it also added volume w/o clumping and some length, not a whole lot. It looks very natural yet dramatic. lol Falsies w/o the falsies. You all should check this one out, I think it will be a hit!

I picked this mascara up today and the brush is giant! I am super excited to try it tomorrow with my new Pret a Papier stuff. All of the MAs were giving it huge raves.

A vury vury good gf at Pro slipped one in my pocket today!! The wand is HUGE, just like the diorshow mascara! LOVE IT!!

hmmm, I kinda hate huge brushes too, but if its as great as everyone says I'll live with it. And, waaay cheaper than the Dior I'm using

I don't like a huge brush either. I don't like the look of it and I'm not used to using it, but I would imagine it might be quicker to work with. I am almost out of my beloved Chanel Inimitable and I am not quite ready to dish out the $$$ for it now. Maybe I will try this since it's dirt cheap. I've never tried a Mac mascara before.

I tried this mascara today and sadly it isn't my favorite. The brush is too huge for my eyes. I don't feel like I have good control and it doesn't get the corner of my eyes very well. It wears pretty well (no flaking, etc) but I think that once I am done with this tube I won't get another.

Ugh, forget it. I will just dish out the money for my Chanel mascara. Nothing pisses me off more than a crappy mascara. I don't want to take my chances.

Ughh this is exactly what I was worried about.
I definitely can't get a "false lashes" look if I can't even control where the product is going. My lashes tend to clump quite a bit, and I see this being challenging to resolve with a HUGE brush.

By far the best MAC mascara to date. All MAC mascaras run on me. Even splashproof
I am a huge fan on DiorShow. Opulash reminded me a lot of DiorShow but not as dramatic, but still very good. It didn't smudge on me at all even on my bottom lashes. That says a lot because it isn't even waterproof and DiorShow non-waterproof smudges on my bottom lashes. I did a major no no last night a fell asleep with my mascara on and never smudged.
I will post side-by-side comparison here later today.

Hmm. I usually go drugstore when it comes to mascara because I go through the stuff so quickly, but this has me curious. Can anyone speak as to how it compares to LashBlast?

I don't have a problem with mascara's running on me and despite my fears, I just picked this up from nordstroms. I'm digging the tube. Won't be testing this out until tomorrow, though.

I will only use Diorshow waterproof - so this is really good to hear about Opulash! I do like the dramatic look of Diorshow.

I LOVE big brushes, finally MAC may have done it right. I was going to buy Lancome Hypnose next but I'm going to give this a shot next weekend.
