Plushlash is for me, that nice everyday mascara. It doesn't clump & is smooth & silky feeling & does separate the lashes well.

The only MAC mascara I've tried is zoomlash b/c I've received it a TON of times in my online orders. I hated it though. It separated my lashes, but no volume at all

! In mascaras, I look more for extreme volume rather than lengthening since my lashes aren't really short to begin with. I LOVE Diorshow, but I'm always still on the lookout for the next best thing! I hope this one gives me more volume than Diorshow and there is no clumping b/c then this will be my new HG mascara!

Zoomlash was a disaster in a tube for me. X and Prolash didn't do too much. Pluslash would have been OK had the bristles not been so floppy. I liked Fibre Rich lash and Studio fix lash alright, but they weren't the best.

I have some hopes for this one. Can't wait to try it.

Based on this description alone, I want to try it! I've stuck with DS volume mascaras, but they've all really disappointed me. LashBlast is OK, but the brush always hits my lid when I'm trying to "wiggle" the brush at the base of my lashes, so the look is always smudgy and gross. The Collosal just flaked everywhere, and Carbon Black Voluminous started drying out WAY too quickly. I'd be willing to put down a couple extra bucks for Opulash if it does what it should!

Nordstrom has this on their website now. I just ordered it for in store pick up today. Can't wait to try it.

Also the new In Style magazine has a big ad for this on their back cover.

i really liked plushlash (i ran out! the only mascara i've ever finished, lol), and i like dazzlelash as well. i got a sample of zoomlash and i like it okay. i got the zoom fast black lash or whatever it was called - for some reason, after a week or so of having it, it turned into a hottt mess. clumpy as HELL.

this one sounds really promising, though! i'll definitely get it to try out (even though i have a new tube of dazzlelash waiting for me when i'm finished with this zoomlash sample!)

My Nordstrom's had this out yesterday (I thought it released Thursday, but oh well!) and so I had to buy it. I love the color of the formula--it really is super black! The brush is really large (I compared it to a sample of Benefit's BadGal Lash mascara, and the brushes are roughly the same size), so I'll have to have a bit of adjustment time. It's my first foray into high-end mascaras, and I think I'm a convert! It doesn't clump on my lashes, but it delivers on a dramatic look. I wrote up a more extensive review on MakeupAlley, but I just wanna say that this ROCKS in my book!

I can not wait to get my hands on this. I may even have to pick it up at Nordstrom this weekend because I don't want to wait. What's the official release date?

Do we know if this is LE? I have never tried MAC mascara other than a zoomlash sample, but my MA was raving about this, and I am about due for new mascara anyway so.... Specktra says 5/27 for launch, but I think it may be earlier than that.

No, it's perm. Erin said the new Mascara schematic has it on the back of the stand with the 'dramatic' mascaras.

Since my Buxom Lash Mascara is starting to dry up, maybe I'll purchase this mascara soon whenever I can and I'm not too worried about purchasing it ASAP since it's permanent.

it quickly covers the lashes from root to tip, giving extreme volume with 108%improvement in fullness. the long-wearing formula contains a strong film former that helps hold curl and add volume, while providing up to 15 hrs of wear. the formula is sweat-and humidity-resistan. itcontains a blend of silica, mica and kaolin that grabs onto the lashes to help provide volume and fullness to the lashes. opulash features a giant brush, the larges we make, that gives intense application of puroduct with excellent lash separation. it contains hollow fibres in all directions, resulting in a full brush surface with no gaps. the larg diameter at the back of the burhs creates a big, voluminous look on the lashes, while the tapered front tip makes it easy to reach the lashes at the inner corners of the eye.

I am loving this mascara ladies. I have been a hardcore Dior Show and YSL Fauxcils user for years but I can see this quickly replacing both.

Those are two mascaras I've been lemming, but I'm happy to hear that my Opulash blows 'em out of the water!

I think it is definitely worth a try.

I have fairly long lashes but pretty skimpy, naturally light and stick straight. This mascara gives excellent volume, the color is awesome (deep rich black) and my lashes hold a curl longer with it. The wear is very good (10+ hour work days for me) and it is still pretty easy to remove (I use MAC cleansing oil to remove my makeup). I also think the price is excellent at $14 considering that drugstore mascaras are almost as expensive now (CG's new Lash Blast Fusion is $12) and not nearly as good in quality IMHO.

I realize that mascara is very subjective so, of course, your mileage may vary so to speak.

I am so anxious to try this. Seems like the reviews are pretty good. There has been quite a bit of buzz about it, considering it's a mascara. Might have to make a trip to Nordie's cause I don't want to wait!
