@liba I cant wait to hear your wonderful descriptions. You could be a writer, i can describe things decent, but you really know how to get the vision across!!!! And i share a lot of the opinions on items i have heard u discuss, so im so happy your gonna go see them. Im so jealous too tho hehe. Im sooooo curious to hear about these!!! Could be my next fave thing ever like huggables are. and i only got four of the eight i wanted. so maybe u can help save me from underbuying before its too late!
I am a writer, as a matter of fact - just not about makeup normally

Sorry, today was super hectic and it's so late and I should be in bed.
Suffice it to say: this formula isn't exactly like Huggables in a pencil, but it has some advantages over Huggables - fantastic form factor, super buildable opacity, lots of pigment in really cute adorable colors. Where it differs is - Huggables are more moisturizing, Huggables created a very smooth layer on my lips that sort of erases lip lines, while these are clingier and won't hide lip lines if they're there. If you have smooth lips, though, you will be able to get a finish that's like amazing glass perfection. Doesn't seem like there will be a ton of product to use in each pencil, especially if you want to layer it on heavily. Patentpolish is also a bit grippier and clingier on the lips than Huggables, so a little less comfortable (then again Huggables are unusually comfortable, so they're already beyond the norm there).
I've gotta sleep right now but I'll talk more tomorrow - also, I was in such a rush, I didn't get to try every color on my lips, but I did swatch everything and am going to go back and try the rest of them on Sunday or Monday. The hand swatches I made are not far from what they will look like on the lips, though, because most of the colors are very opaque, even in one pass. The few that are a little sheerer are easily made opaque. Very unique finish too - it's like a glossier Kissable Lip Color effect (mind you, they don't feel like Kissables, but the finish is rather similar when it's on the lips, just with more wet-look. They don't look wet like gloss does, though…it's a pretty unique finish - what it reminds me of the most is if you took a Casual Color, slathered it heavily on your lips, rather than patting it on, and mingle it with a little more glossiness. They feel a bit stiffer, compared to Huggables which had more slip.
OK gotta sleep now - the color range is really nice, with some shades that are almost Huggable dupes but mostly brand new colors that are a little more fun. I'd say it's a battle between young person lips (patentpolish) vs. old people lips (Huggables), especially when you factor in the colors and the form factor, which is super fun in the Patentpolish and a little more conservative in the form factor of the Huggables (if that makes any sense).
This is definitely a fun time product. The self sharpening is brilliant too - packaging is very slick.
