Berry Bold - A gorgeous orange red. The texture is silky smooth with an almost stay put adherence to the lips while still looking like a lipstick with a slight coat of gloss over it. Sexy, voluptuous appearance to the lips. I don't like the round tip & the packaging feels cheap/tacky. I do love the color & texture a lot.

^^^Most color accurate.

I'll probably check out HD in stores after Kittenish gets here. That one I'll keep for everyday. They're a little shiny/glossy for my taste but maybe a different color will satisfy me. I'll find one to love, I'm sure. ;)
They are definitely glossy. There is no escaping the patent leather/ vinyl look with these. I tried to blot mine down and I don't think they blot down well AT ALL. Blotting makes them go patchy and weird and crumbly. These will suck if you are the type that instinctively blots or does the "lip smush" when applying. I mentioned all this in my first rundown - that when I ate with them on, I felt compelled to completely wipe it off, because I couldn't just blot it down enough that it didn't get in the way - they totally work like gel-style lip gloss in that department.

If you're not a fan of gloss, these might just not be up your alley, no matter how pretty the colors are, and you should hold off until the Velvetease pencils. How's THAT for anti-enabling?

Annnmmdddd I officially sound crazy right now. The color is very salmony so tomorrow I might just try on the other one the whole day and see how it does (the other one is go for girlie which as I stated before the shade was cute but it was soooo patchyyyyyy!)
I honestly like how that looks on you!!! Teen Dream is ultra-salmony, though…it's pretty garish and not for the shy violets. Like I was saying, are you a natural "lip smusher" when you apply lipsticks? If so, I bet that's why it was patchy on you. I can't see the patchiness in your photo, but hey, if YOU know it's too patchy for your tastes, it won't matter much what other people are thinking, just like if you have a big old zit on your chin - no one else even cares about it for a second, but to you, it feels like the Alien took over your face.

Teen Dream is less sheer on the lips that Dreaming Dahlia by maybe 30%. Teen Dream is brighter than DD on me and lighter and less red than DD too. I think your photo is pretty decently accurate about the colors!! We will need a lot more people posting lip swatch pictures to get the full idea. I only purchase my products in-store, so I won't have mine in my hands until next week, but I was still hoping to get back over to my store to finish testing all of them on my lips and if I manage to do that, I will try to get home and take a photo if at all possible.

Also, someone in this thread was comparing the look of these to the OCC Lip Tars and I would have to agree, the finished look after application is very very similar to them. What's nice about these pencils is they are MUCH easier to apply than lip tars. That's the thing about them - the texture and behavior has its ups and downs, BUT when you combine that with the extremely convenient form factor/packaging and the beautiful colors, the disadvantages (such as how they cling to your lip texture and the fact there isn't a ton of product per pencil) start to seem less of a big deal. If you are one of those people who have serious deal breakers like you hate glossy finishes or you need moisturizing formulas only, do not run out and shop online, bottom line. That's the most important anti-enabling thing I can say about this crazy stuff!!!

Did anyone that has seen them in person, or that received theirs already, see a mid toned pink? I'm looking for a color like MAC Venus or lovelorn, UD love child etc. Pleasant looks good but looks brighter. More like MAC Lustering. Kittenish is my favorite type of shade and It comes tomorrow yay!
