Somehow these babies came home with me today, wondering if I should get kittenish.. I wanted to try on my lips but the ladies at my mac counter didn't offer any assistance.

Is your MAC like that too? Mine always has like 7 people working, but the thing is, they start helping one person and then they JUST help that person for like an hour and a half. So I could be there for HOURS and never get any help. I love the ladies who work there, I really do, they all know me, and they're great when the place isn't busy. But if there are thirty people in that tiny store, it's super awkward that they spend like 50 minutes doing one person's eyeshadow. I even brought my anti-MAC makeup artist friend to the store once to convert her, and everyone at the store just helped this one supermodel looking girl for 40 minutes. It was awful, because now she's anti-ANTI-MAC AND she left feeling ugly :( I don't know how I can change her mind now :(

OK, so I am peeved that so many people have been ignoring these pencils, and especially listening to all the weird talk and bad photos of them on the internet. It's true there are lots of lip color pencils out on the market already, and I know that gets in the way of these having a unique image. The thing is, it's not just the formula on these - it's the formula PLUS the form factor (the rounded tip of the product, the self sharpening, even the way it feels in your hand and how the cap closes with a click and doesn't go near the product, smearing it around.) PLUS the really gorgeous colors that are quite different from the shades that a lot of other chubby pencils have.

It's not sunny today over here, but tomorrow should be and I will try to take a bunch of full face photos. My camera sucks and it's pretty doubtful I'll get a lot of really correct color reproduction but I'll do my best. These could use some love. I tried and retried so many of them yesterday and my lips are super soft and smooth today, not thrashed!
I just wish all of them had the formula that Kittenish does. I've been wearing it like crazy lately and LOVE it, but Pleasant I have to work a bit harder to get an even application. Also I think the fact that they're $5 more than a regular MAC lipstick is turning people off. Happy with mine though and glad I bought them.

I just want to tell them how hard do you have to make it to take my money... It's so frustrating. If i worked there I would love my job but for some reason no one ever wants to help me.. I would even most likely buy things they would suggest for me... If they ever did. I dropped $140 at the counter today and she really could have cared less...
