seriously, what good would i get from paring my list down? i'd just end up missing a bunch of really wonderful products that if i skipped this time around, I would have to spend much more time tracking them down later....

I had to come back to my comp before my pre-bedtime movie to stare at the promo pics again and see if everyone else was as excited here as I am!

Lip-wise I really like: Exxxhibitionist, Love Peck, Peacocky, Scandelicious, So Vain, Strut Your Stuff, and Woo Me! Vanity Fair is a maybe, depending on how blue-based it is.

Eyes...I want them all, minus the pink one (Top of the Posh). I won't be able to cut that list down further until we start seeing swatches. As of now, they all seem awesome!

I have no idea how I would react to the swatches if the product images make me this happy!

Hope the lipcolours are pigmented.

I was really hoping I wouldn't like the look of the lip colors so I could save for Wonder Woman. Well, that's shot. Love Peck and Scandelicious must be mine and Temper Tantra is worth a look. Love Peck appears that it will be the super hot item of the collection. Can't wait for swatches!

If I had the budget I wouldn't pare down my list! I am hoping some of the eyeshadow colors end up looking similar to the millions of shadows I already own lol.

lol color_lover -- shouldn't we all be institutionalized?

that said, I rarely go into the Chanel thread, cause I can only contribute what I buy for myself -- I don't test their products per sé.... but I do get to peek at stuff when I want to

. and, between Chanel and Guerlain, I will always go G. I find that particular thread a bit stuffy anyway..lol...

I am home now cause the cold got me a nasty cold/sinus infection which I am now nursing in bed... but came on to see how you guys were handling the deluge of information on Peacocky.... I think you could pare some of the Es down -- I have all of the ES but if I were to have to pay for them, I would skip the colours which are more common or easily dupeable, or, ones similar to what you might have or can create.

Remember you can create a lot of colour with some products like a Dark Soul paint pot, or a Black GPS--- this will darken and make a meh colour into something more spectacular. The lighter colours in this collex are harder to dupe, because the texture is so delicious and hard to find.

The ls will give you the juicy flocked lips we joked about before -- but remember too, there are a lot of upcoming collections and winter is going to over, so pick product looking for forward trends... i.e. the corals, hot pinks, fuschias, rose, nudes.

All of the talk about Love Peck selling out scares me. But, I know it's inevitable. I'm going to try and stay relatively sane with only one backup.

And I've managed to cut my list back a little. Staying with Love Peck (x2), Peacocky, and Woo Me, and as far as shadows go, just Sexpectations, Mating Call, and Noir Plum, though I know I'll end up with Unflappable.

Needless to say, I'll be stalking the website. I don't know what I'll do if I miss Love Peck.

Thanks for the helpful advice HerGreyness! I am going to take a serious look at what I already have before rushing out and grabbing everything my eyes are drawn to. It's just so easy to fall in love with all the pretty. I'm not too worried about winter being over quickly, though, I can handle being a little off-trend if by some chance, the snow melts early in Montreal.

I don't think you need a ton of backups. I've never gotten to a single backup I've bought, it's insane.

I know I have to jump on certain lip colors because they are hot, but I've got a good feeling I'll have Peacocky all to myself. Who will be bold enough to rock a blue lippie? It can be tweaked I bet, but some will still be too scared. I am excited.

Shontay, you bring up a good point. I don't think I have ever gotten to any of my backups either. But I keep telling myself that it's because I have only started buying backups for 2-3 years....I use up around two lipglass a year, and I'm sure I *could* be on a backup if i really liked a color enough.

yeah i dont do back up's either! i have only backed up lollipop loving lipstick because it's my fave and now i'm on my last one boo!

love peck will be awesome and i cant wait to own it!
