So, here is my obscene list and I would really appreciate some help in cutting things from the list. i really hope we get some more swatches soon.

^ bis, as far as cutting down, all the ES you listed are my special favs... of course, it depends on what you already own that would make these dupeable and therefore could be eliminated.

The ls, for me are: Love Peck, Exxhibitionist and Woo Me... again, it depends on what ls you already own... but keep in mind that these ls are very unique -- again the technology is different than a what we consider a "normal lipstick".

Thanks for your well wishes -- I am on antibiotics and quite frankly just sleeping my time away when I have so many deadlines till end of year.. oh well, life is what it is.

Good luck with your selections -- if I get my hands on some of the ls which will be in this collex I will post as I said before, but again we are up against a lot of corporate walls of secrecy.

The muted thing makes me think it won't really stand out on my pigmented lips. Also, Peacocky, is the red pearl really noticeable? I'm thinking the red pearl can make it really wearable. TIA.

Peacock is the famous blue ls -- it has a slight reddish glow to it, so it isn't totally blue...no, it's not all that noticeable but in direct sunlight it is more so. You would have to try it to see if you could wear it -- remember your body/lip chemistry might alter the colour from what it is in the casing.

So vain is lovely -- but it did come out a bit light and certainly lighter than Made to Order....if your lips are very pigmented you might be better off with Exxhibitionist. Also remember these are not "normal" lipsticks -- they are a creamier formula made with new technology which will feel and look different on each person.

I'm not getting out of this collection for under $200. I had a giant list before the swatches and promo pics were revealed, and it's not any better now.

On the other hand, I will have much high fashion newfangled juicy flocked lips!

Exxxhibitionist, Superb, Peacocky are the absolute lippie must haves for me, with Love Peck, Flaunting It and Woo Me if I am just totally in love.

I wonder how similar these Lip Colours are to the lip products from Ellis Faas, which were 3 different kinds of liquid lipstick. I saw them for the first time yesterday and was very smitten with the textures and some of the colors, offbeat neutrals and reds. Very expensive for my taste, though - I'm so used to MAC, $35 for a lipstick is anathema to me.

Awww you're sick HerGreyness? I didn't know/see. It makes me wonder if I am missing out on some posts! I really hope you feel better soon! I am recovering myself, even my voice had left me, lol. It sucks being sick, I hope you don't go through it for much longer!!

And why did I have to type my posts 2 times?? It won't even let me place the cursor where I want and starts at the top!. Anyway, I wish somehow I could get testers for this collection too 'cause it may just be my fav or one of for 2010 and I can't even afford what I want. Maybe if I do have to sell my house, I can get more Sucks...

I can't wait for more pics, I always need several versions of pics to know for sure haha. I like 8 of the e/s but hope to knock it to 4 or 3. Have to remember they are more than a reg. e/s! I like 5 of the l/c but will try to knock it to 1!

I am still beside myself with what I want. I'm pretty overwhelmed and feel I am going to want every shadow. Not that I can afford all, so I'll have to hold on till more pics. I'll def take hergreyness's suggestions into my decisions.

hergreyness... since these shadows are special wouldnt that make finding dupes moot since there hasnt been this formula before? Thats part of the reason why I want these shadows so much, is the way you have discribed the texture, color, etc. tia

^ Yup, me too! I've marked down HerGreyness' favorites because I truly trust her opinions! I just know she will be on the money, lol. I will be narrowing it down but her list is a nice guideline, for me! Especially as to not overlook anything I may regret later.

And you pose a good question! I will be getting the colours I love and wear most since the quality is so superior. As for colours I don't wear very much, I will have to pass on those. It will be more worth it to me this way.

Do I need Ego if I have Humid? And how unique is the colour of the purple? I think I'll stick with the list for a little while.

I dunno - those swatches seem pretty poorly done. it makes no good sense to swatch a shadow that's supposed to be creamy smooth and blendable on some dry wrinkly part of a hand, then zoom in on top of that (with not such great lighting either). It'd be better to use a smooth patch, like the inside of the arm, for a more neutral canvas.

Even in that picture, you can still see there's a lot of satin shimmering finish, which is really nice. It's just that all the surface reflections are getting stuck in the texture of her hand.

Erine's swatches are always the best (come back Erine!

), and HerGreyness's swatches always reproduce the texture of products really well. Since MAC sent out these products MoaM has, I'm sure some of the other sites that get samples sent will slap up swatches soon. I'd rather they take an extra day and do a good job lighting and photographing them.
