I agree. I enjoy her site, but the swatches sometimes are mediocre. Say what you want about the site that shall not be mentioned, but the swatches are tops. I really want to see some decent swatches. I don't know if I should get Unflappable, though because I had a similar color from Style Black and I never used it. I think I should stick to the colors that I know I need.

I dunno - those swatches seem pretty poorly done. it makes no good sense to swatch a shadow that's supposed to be creamy smooth and blendable on some dry wrinkly part of a hand, then zoom in on top of that (with not such great lighting either). It'd be better to use a smooth patch, like the inside of the arm, for a more neutral canvas.
Even in that picture, you can still see there's a lot of satin shimmering finish, which is really nice. It's just that all the surface reflections are getting stuck in the texture of her hand.
Erine's swatches are always the best (come back Erine!), and HerGreyness's swatches always reproduce the texture of products really well. Since MAC sent out these products MoaM has, I'm sure some of the other sites that get samples sent will slap up swatches soon. I'd rather they take an extra day and do a good job lighting and photographing them.
