Hmm, I could swear I submitted that post I was writing yesterday. I wonder if it is the new Specktra that is playing tricks on me, or it's me going a bit![]()
I wanted to say that I can was looking forward to see Erine swatches, as they rock! I can imagine that she doesn't have time for this at the mo, as the past couple of weeks are extra busy for those of us working in the retail.
I agree that Muse's mega metal eyeshadow swatches are a bit "meh". It is as if she didn't really feel like making a lot of effort with those, because she was underwhelmed by their inconsistent formula. I can imagine that more swatches will start popping up on various blogs, now that Mac started sending out press samples.
Yep, her swatches are the best, can't wait to see Peacocky ones!Karla's swatches always make me drool!![]()
I am happy that I usually handle powder productsthere have been several revisions to my knowlege on the ls and the final results seem -- confused![]()
you mentioned this tech is still pretty new and that a couple of years out, there will be similar, even better formulas. Wonderful to know, since it makes me less overwhelmed - I can get the few colors that are the most unique and just figure there will be something even better coming around the corner by the time I'm out of these.I am happy that I usually handle powder productsthere have been several revisions to my knowlege on the ls and the final results seem -- confused![]()
yeah i'm not getting the blue lippie. i wouldnt wear it enough to justify getting it. plus i have so many lip products right now i dont need too many more!
I've been running through my clothing in my mind, concocting outfits that'll look good with Peacocky and so far the simple black 50's-60's tulle and chiffon cocktail dresses and just simple, stark, modern, all-white outfits like a plain T plus white skirt/shorts/slacks are the looks that can carry it.I'm hoping it will look decent on me over a dark purple l/s.![]()
I've decided that I need to hire you to be my personal stylist...pronto!I've been running through my clothing in my mind, concocting outfits that'll look good with Peacocky and so far the simple black 50's-60's tulle and chiffon cocktail dresses and just simple, stark, modern, all-white outfits like a plain T plus white skirt/shorts/slacks are the looks that can carry it.
I'll just use plenty of sheer, smooth shimmer over flawless skin, Peacocky on the lips (no liner), a little liquid liner on the upper lids/mascara and some honking bright nail polish. I've spent the past few months growing out my brows so that they're fuller, softer and straighter, but still with a bit of an arch - sort of 80's eyebrows, and that's that. Keep the hair very sleeked back and simple.
I think Peacocky will rock for daytime as well as nighttime with this sort of look. I'll be wearing it a lot for sure.
You girls are such dears! I used to be a clothing designer, doing avant guard knits and one offs for entertainers. Sometimes I think about going back to it, but the economy'd probably have to get better to make it worthwhile.agree! you need to be my stylist too! hee hee!
