MAC - Peacocky discussion

yay emwylie is here love him u need to blogtv more love haha. we just got peacocky at the counter today so i didnt get a change to swatch since i was to busy checking everything in but the teal shadow and the bright purple one are GORGEOUS!!!!!

Oh wow! I'm not used to running in to Subs everywhere! I thought I was too unknown for shenanigans like that! haha

I'm really looking forward to this collection even though I'm not sure I'll have much money to pick up items from it. I know I really want Peacocky lipcolour. I've been waiting for M.A.C. to give me a blue lipcolour for a while now. lol

lol its fun right lol. peacocky is really pretty the kissable lip colors have a very milky texture to them. when u apply it the blue is really blue think of it as like a blue raspberry loli pop its that blue

I am in the exact same place right now!

I know for sure I am getting the red/burgundy shadow. Maybe the green one. Everything else is up in the air right now.

Based on the swatches, I have a feeling these shadows may be overhyped. Maybe I had so high expectations with these, but at least in my eyes the ones reviewed are not worth the hype. I mean, not one of the shadows we've seen so far have gotten me excited, it's a bit of a let down. I'm still keeping my hopes up that there will be a couple amazing colours so I don't have to say I'm disappointed in these. There has to be a unique one in the bunch right? So far these look so common. Besides, I do want at least one to try the new finish, but I would like the colour itself to be great as well.

I for one don't mind getting a dupeable colour. I am only looking at colours I will use most often, unfortunately, especially because of the price. I think I will enjoy certain colours a great deal if they are added to my daily routine and with the buttery texture to top it off

I am liking Prance and Spectacle of Yourself (reminds me of Bronze in that picture maybe?).

Can't wait to see Dalliance and Center Stage! <-- I have a feeling these two will be my haul.

Thanks SilentStorm for the links. Teals are always difficult on me (although I was wearing the colour yesterday), so I'm not sold on Odalisque. Prance looks gorgeous, although I have a NARS colour (Ashes to Ashes) that looks similar. I'll know better when I see them in person.

No problem I wish I could find more tho On one hand Im hoping for something to wow me but on the other I am hoping everything is blah cuz I really dont have the fund to drop a chunk of change down. I love greens and teals but for me as I said before most tend to look the same on my eye ie teal pigment and steamy so unless its a stand out I cant get it. What about the teal makes is difficult for you?
