MAC - Peacocky discussion

THIS SUCKS! Peacocky is up along with Mickey but everything is coming soon on the website. I am only ordering Gana blush from Mickey as the collection is a little dark and warm for me right now. I am channeling the blonde ice princess look (aka dead of winter pale and cool toned). Anyway, I want to order peacocky with it.

I hate how there are NO swatches except like two and those arent the ones I am interested in... WHY MAC?!?! WHYYY!!!

I wish I could see more swatches, I know Im going to end up bying something I don't need and I will return it to MAC, this plan might backfire on them if people order because they cant really see and they will get tons of returns!! Thoughts?

I need help here... CLEARLY!

if you can dupe an exact MU color from a picture on the web then you are good! Most of these colors photographed do not look exactly the same in person in my opinion. I don't think they are accomplishing much for being super secretive. cause if someone is going to steal it, then they will. MAC also re-promotes and dupes colors alot, so most items are not intitrely new.

personally, i think they just got tired of people coming in the store with beforehand knowledge fromt the web about collections ... especially after what happened with rodarte. i for one don't mind the secrecy anymore. took me a while, but now i have time to focus on other brands and saving money. in a way it all works out.

oh well whatever, i know its been discussed before, but we fans were hurt up a bit over it

Just called the Pro Store and they said this collection will be in store, this Thursday 12/30. Guess ill be making a trip to the store this week

Im sold on woo me. I think with her skin coloring on MBB its too light for her but im nw25 (newly matched) and i think it would look great on us lighter girls. Shontay I think temper tantra would look amazing on you!! it might be too dark for me. Im jelous

! Not that many NW25's on Specktra I want Woo Me and Love Peck now for sure. Karen from MBB said these don't wear too well though. I'm gonna wear liners with them anyway so I should be fine

However I go from NW20 in winter- NW30 in summer- usually im just a NW25

thanks! the blue gloss is SICK! i am getting that. i am sure i can so something with it.

the shadows, verdict is still out, still waiting for the swatches from the usual crew. some are coming up good and some are not. i just hope i can narrow it down to 2, like i've been planning.

The lippies look incredible in this video. The swatches on her arm are so pigmented and yummy looking! The eyeshadows seem somewhat hit and miss (great news for the budget!), but those that hit...hit HARD. Some of them are stunning! I can't wait for more reviews and swatches to start rolling in.

I think I'm fooling myself into thinking I can do something manageable with Peacocky, but I want it anyway. I am back on the Love Peck train because it doesn't look as flat as the swatch that was posted some time ago. I'm torn on Exxhibitionist because I love coral, but maybe I need to skip a coral for once.

I thought I could completely skip the shadows, but I can't. Noir Plum is mine, mine, mine!!! The other one I am interested in is Dalliance. Her shot was out of focus so I can't decide. She said it's a pretty gold, but I was hoping for the champagne color in Mac's description. I have to see for myself.

Does anyone know if I need the purple from the Mickey collection if I get Noir Plum? I don't want to be redundant. maybe Hergreyness can help me out?
