Ah I wanted Spectacle of Yourself but it looks so similar to Antiqued.... Any advice which to get? Save money and get the pan of get the monster size e/s?

I was wondering the same, but unless someone can convince me that there is a major difference in application/wear/finish I think I'm going to get Antiqued in refill form. I doubt I'll get through a whole normal sized eyeshadow, let alone one of the big ones, so I might as well save the price difference towards other colours.

Looking at swatches I see Exxhibitionist is quite similar to Cyndi, but I still want it because Cyndi isn't as pigmented as I want it to be. I am nuts about that color.

A shout out and thank you to Her Greyness. She was right on target with this one. It's about the lights, darks and unexpecteds with this collection.

Now that some swatches are starting to leak I have been able to narrow my list down to things I will actually use. I still need to see a couple of shades in person but I am feeling pretty confident with my new, narrowed down list.

In a way it is good that I don't love everything (as I originally thought I would). I will be picking up a couple of pieces from Mickey Contractor (didn't expect that) and my budget for LE collections just got reduced by $100-$150 because MAC is dc'ing alot of my holy grail every day products (Beiging shadestick, Tete a Tint e/s, Studio Moisture Fix, Velvetella l/l, Fibre Rich mascara, Bare Light paint and MV3 fragrance which I have worn since it came out to name a few) so I have to buy a few backups while I can.

Same here. That was totally unexpected. I have to pick them up.

hey, I had a nut job of a hairdresser put in some blue tinted goop in my hair which was supposed to make the whites whiter, (like teeth) -- so I figured, ok.. let's make it whiter.. and I had blue hair for about a week...lol. One of the many travails of being a blonde/silver person with funny streaks.

But do you still go to that hairdresser

And now I've dropped Noir Plum because I have grape and push the edge pigment. So, no shadows for me. That means more glosses!

Well if the glosses are such great colors, pigmented & long wearing - maybe they will be a better choice than some of the shadows

I still have to watch RussianBabe's vid but I think my list is pretty final. As I said before, Center Stage and Dalliance will be my e/s haul - it still is!

Noir Plum is gorgeous but...I really want to get Marvel, because I love Push The Edge and only have a sample of it.

Unflappable is so close to Smut (don't have it yet, though) and it keeps reminding me of Bloodline.

For lipcolours, I've narrowed it down to Woo Me and So Vain. I hope I can cut one more, though, lol.

I will just get Sable eventually instead of Center Stage or if it shows up at a CCO I'll get it then. Odalisque looks too much like Birds & Birds so I'm not going to take a chance on it since I have to order online (unfortunately this time) and I'm still on the fence about Dalliance and I don't know why. Will keep studying the Dalliance swatch to see how much I'll actually use this shadow after getting it.

Anyone notice that the swatches of So Vain on Temptalia are different? There's one in the regular review and one in the dupe post. I think in the dupe post she swatched Super by accident. I don't know, So Vain seems so brown in that swatch. Maybe I've been looking at swatches too long.

I really want Super, but part of me is wondering if it'll be too light to be the nude color I'm looking for. I don't want it to look like I slapped NC40 foundation all over my lips, youknowwhatimsayin?

After seeing Temptalia's dupe swatches, my excitement level for the eyeshadows has gone way down. Of course I will go in and swatch and play with them on my own, but I don't feel compelled to really own any of them now since I have other shadows that are so close in appearance to those that I thought I wanted. The only thing I am really looking forward to at this point is seeing what the texture of these new shadows is all about.
