MAC - Peacocky discussion

Just read the color descriptions *again* and I have decided to budget for all of them, shadows and lip colors.

I'm betting on skipping Cham-Pale and Stylishly Yours to do this. Of course, once I see swatches, I'm sure I'll be able to cut a good chunk, meaning I won't have to skip those two.

See how I think?

Ya I'm going easy on these coll for this one too! But I only hauled 6 things from VV so I can get a few things from champale, theres some good stuff on that one too.
I love metallic colors! I've been looking forward to these shadows all year! This and TT will be my most expensive hauls of the year.

When I freak out about how much I'm spending I remember... We are all hardworking amazing women, we deserve some goodies for ourselfs!

Technically, this comes out next year.

I got 14 things from VV, and want a ton of sets from TT, so as soon as TT is done, I'll be saving for this.

And very true- we are all hardworking amazing women and we deserve a treat every once in awhile.

Or whenever MAC has a new launch.

So true!!! And I am dying to try them, too. But, I am WAY more excited about the lip colors.

I will definitely be doing backups if they are like dare to wear glosses.

sounds good but i'm good without it. i have young punk mes and later pigment. potentially this will be similar too?

I know I might get stones thrown at me for this, but I don't own any pigments. I had some samples but I've been in a "not wearing much eye makeup" funk the past few months so I ended up selling them. I really like the sound of the black pigment. I'm always for anything that is "two" toned or has a different color shimmer in it. The last MES I had was Danger Zone and it was messy, probably from that streak of glitter bomb silver in the middle!

My wallet sincerely hopes you're right on this. It does sound like it could be an e/s dupe for later, in which case I don't need it. If it's more purple... Well, then perhaps it could be duped with My Dark Magic... I need to restrain myself a little.

i have danger zone and i love the red so much... but the glitter zipper can go to hell!

Don't get me started on Danger Zone - love the colour, hate the glitter. And next to no payoff unless they are used wet. That's why I've never brought an MES since...

I used the black for e/l for quite a bit and then the red I used on top of Flammable paint for Halloween about 2 years ago. Other than that, I wasn't particularly that pleased with it.

Lou, I agree-- the silver streak was totally pointless and just downright useless.

tweet me-gold bronze
sexpectations-metallic burgandy
spectacle of yourself-deep bronze
centre stage-frosted chocolate brown

definitely...ok might...try to cut these down

p.s. is it that obvious i love neutrals lol

I love neutrals, but I'm only just getting started with them, so I'm dipping my feet gently before committing to them.. plus, if I do end up getting the neutrals, that'd be every one I'd want

i'm glad these aren't like the metal x cream eyeshadows last year, i hated those! some of these colors sound very intriguing, i can't wait to see more swatches!
