I can't wait to hear about the wear for the lip colours. Will it wear like a gloss? Will it dry into a finish like the Pro long wear liquid lipsticks? WIll it stain? I'm curious because I've been fed up lately will crappy lasting power of certain glosses I have. Can't wait to see all of the pictures and swatches. I love the look of the burgundy and the dark green eyeshadow! So rich looking!

I'm wondering if the texture of these lipsticks is something that will require a lip liner. Normally that wouldn't be a problem, but it makes me wonder what I'd use for Peacocky... Undercurrent?

The official description on the lip colours says "feather-resistant" so you could probably get away without a liner, if they're not overstating.

I'd use Naked, or maybe In Synch if I wanted it to look milkier and cooler or Dervish (for me, since that matches my natural lip color very closely).

Chances are for me I'll be skipping liners with these, since the semi-opacity of "medium coverage" is a good look on it's own - I like the half-done, destroyed sort of makeup look.

I don't think that with the texture of these ls that a liner will be necessary. They have a smooth gel like consistency although the technology is not entirely perfect (gel ls is a new trend and will be hitting major cosmetic cos in 2011-2012).

bis, I looked at what I had for this collection in ls and am not satisfied that these are what is actually going to be released so I did send out an email to a friendlier consultant who might have info and will get back to you -- if what I have has not been altered significantly I will post up.

Hmmm, gel...I like it, although if the tech is still not totally solidified, I suppose that means we'll have these Kissable Lip Colours this time out and maybe a repromote and then bye bye and on to the new improved tech.

I guess we'll have to suck it up and love these colors while we have 'em.....ah the fleeting impermanence of newfangled makeup.

Thanks so much! I don't mind wearing liners from time to time, but I am not crazy about lipsticks that absolutely require a liner. I'm so excited to see these lipsticks and the shadows... This is actually the collection I'm most looking forward to, even including (don't hate me too hard)... Wonder Woman...

the teal es is gorgeous -- creamy and there are miniscule flecks of gold in it....not chunky or gritty.. just pure luscious colour.

oh wow! now i really cant wiat for the teal shadow!

recently, i've noticed my CCO is starting to get a lot of items in 4-6 months. Like I saw items from TTB in Sept. I am also seeing popular items too, like Birds and Berries and a few others. I am just noticing items getting to CCOs quicker than before. I'm noticing items that I run out to get at releases showing up there and I feel like I could have waited a couple of months to save some money. In the end, who really knows? its a game of chance.

I am curious as to why you think so. Do you think these aren't unique enough shades? I am not good at the CCO guessing game lol. I bought two of the holiday eyeshadow sets last year, and they went to the CCO. :/

I think I can just get two colors at release and be done with it. If they make a CCO appearance, then great. if not. cool too.
I look at it like this, its likely I have similar colors or colors in the same family to what's being offered. I just really want a couple to try out this new formula.

^ Sorry darlin, I only have Sns... no WNs.. so I would not want to lead you astray... the purple has red in it, but it looks lovely on... and the silver is like a titanium not extra shiny but enough to give that great glow to the eye area.

bis, the only response I get on the Peacocky ls is that they were reformulated sometime last Jan..... don't know then, at least not yet. Will advise if I get info.

I love the new avatar, HerGreyness! Brought a big smile to my face.

I'm trying to resist the lure of the purples, which is difficult, since this collection seems to have so many of them. I already have more purples than anyone could need, but I seem to end up kicking myself every time one comes out and I decide to skip (e.g., crazy cool).
