Well I had to go to my counter at lunch so I could peep these shadows in person before purchasing. Special shout out to Shontay and sss215 for great reviews for WOC and Devin for those swatches.

That's really the only reason I was interested in them at all since I'm really way more of a lipgloss hoarder than eyeshadow. On to my review:

Anyway, I knew I would probably get Spectacle of Yourself. I was right. That bad boy is gorgeous on. It's the reddish bronze I've been looking for. So smooth and so pigmented. I was concerned if I could wear it alone and I will say, it great all by itself. Just a pop of color on my chocolate skin. It will be great for days I want to be more dressy but don't have the time or energy to do a lot of shadow.

Tweet Me also came home with me. I wasn't expecting that. The MA helping me made me try it because she thought it would look good on my skin.

On me it's the most gorgeous peach that has multicolor shimmer thoughout. I told her "I really wish you hadn't shown me that because now I must own it." It's not so bright that it can't be worn to the office, but it certainly stands out. I'm so happy I got that one as it will be used a lot.

As everyone says, this formula is amazing. I haven't owned a MAC eyeshadow in years since I prefer the pigmintation of UD, but they brought it this go round

(dang I've been dying to use that wave smiley). I have my eye on Ego and Sexpectations, but maybe next payday. My counter was dead, so I suspect they will still be there. My lip colors are sitting on my front porch as I type, so I'll post about them tommorrow.

Man this was long! This is my first real review other than "love it!" so I apologize if I got carried away. Happy hauling everyone!
yep, as my earlier post - I really felt that Tweet Me would be absolutely gorgeous on WOC! So glad you love it.

Enjoy your goodies!

So I went to Inglot today to get a gift card for my friend's birthday. Totally forgetting today was the offical instore release of Peacocky. At my mall Inglot and MAC are very near each other so I just had to pop in. I backed something up today. This may be my 2nd or 3rd back up EVER in my entire makeup madness. I got a 2nd Flaunting it Kissable Lipcolour.I really like this color and I've been wearing it since I got it on 12/30. Its already sold out at the Pro Store so I took the opportunity to grab another one.

I got my lippies! The counter manager has even started to recognize me...

I ended up picking up Flaunt It, Peacocky, and Love Peck as planned. Flaunt It is a lovely muted mauve. I like muted pinks and mauves a lot. I could probably wear this color with anything. Love Peck is very vampy, deep red-berry. I think you could possibly shift the tone slightly depending on what you wear under it. I haven't tried on Peacocky yet, but it looks like such a fun color. I might have to wear it matched with something else and make it more like an accent color. At least I do enough theater to get away with using it there. I just hope it doesn't make my teeth look yellow.

The formula is as fantastic as everyone is saying it is. It is very light and not sticky, but really packs on the color. Feels much more like a liquid lipstick than a gloss, but no, theses are certainly not longwear. They will come off on contact. I'm waiting to see now if these will have any feathering issues. Otherwise, I'm quite happy and hope to see this formula in other colors sometime.

that's some serious restraint. kudos to you!

So, I just came back from the store ENPTY HANDED. I swatched a few shades but I couldn't bring myself to make a purchase....didn't even get Peacocky like I planned. Idk...maybe after I sleep on what I saw and felt I'll be able to make a purchase. If not, more $ for other things :) *deep sigh*

silentstorm, I'm very select now with what I purchase. I'v gotten past the point of wanting everything even though I don't need it, and the truth is, most mu purchasing is want, rather, than, need. If I spent all my disposable income on mu, I wouldn't have anything to spend on anything else. There is nothing in this collection that won't come around again or doesn't have a similar color by another mfr. I just watched gossmakeupartist's 'sterling' utube review on Inglot e/s & you can get an entire e/s palette inexpensively. I think a whole palette is around $60 & the e/s are twice the size of MAC's. As far as MAC is concerned, I don't think I'll be purchasing anything until I see what their May (surf baby ... something like that) looks like. It's ridiculous that I have more mu than I can possibly use up in this lifetime. It's not going to do me any good being buried with it. And when it comes to perishables like liquids & creams, if you have too many, then, by the 3-year mark, you have to ditch them. And I certainly don't have $ to throw in the garbage. So, you're right, mu is just mu, & your kids come 1st. :)

I became a bit uninspired when I was at the counter. Maybe it was that large size pot - where in the world will I put them? I love my de-potted palettes!

Anyway, i bought the typical pale colours I always buy - Peek-at-You and Top of the Posh. They seemed the least metallic. I should re-try Tweet Me - it didn't call to me when I looked at the pan though.

I also bought Enchantee - at first it goes on too bright for me but after walking around with it on, it seemed to get more subtle and sheer, so I had to buy it.

I didn't get Woo Me - just to blah for me. Did I miss a pretty and subtle Lipcolour?

I took out the dividers in my MAC palettes so I put all my varying-sized e/s together. I also bought the MUFE metal palettes for only $10 each + shipping. They are huge. I prefer them over MAC for the quantity they hold. More e/s & blushes in less palettes works for me.

Do the Mega Metal shadow pans fit in the MUFE palette? Or did you take the divider out also?

Did you de-pot your oversized MAC eye shadows when you put them in the palettes without the dividers?

I'm an expert at de-poting small eye shadows but de-potting blushes is very difficult for me. I've been know to crack a few, so I never de-pot the larger ones anymore. Do you find it easy to de-pot the larger eyeshadows?

I *just* got back from my mac shop. Sexpectations was lighter, warmer, and I thought even more rose tinted than Cranberry. There's definitely a difference. Cranberry really pales in comparison to Sexpectations. I've been wanting Cranberry for the longest time now but when I swatched Sexpectations side-by-side, I really felt Sexpectations was everything Cranberry wanted to be but isn't -- brighter more vibrant color, works best with my skin tone, more color payoff, WAY more product. It might be more expensive but at least I know I won't be needing a color like this for a loooooong time lol.

Sorry if this has already been asked, but how does Sexpectations compair to Cranberry?

I just put on Love Peck and omg...it's gorgeous! Soft, doesn't feel like anything is on the lips....SO opaque. The perfect wine color. I might just need a backup!

Are these new eyeshadows amazing enough that it would be worth it to get Dandizette if I already have Deep Truth?
Dandizette looks nothing like deep truth. Dandizette is a indigo blue. deep purpleish blue, maybe some gray in there too. like MAC's perm color Contrast.

Exactly what I decided I would go for, plus Love Peck. I'm picking it up tomorrow. I did not want to pass up the new formulas, although I think we'll see some in the CCOs one day.

Just got back from the counter- I got Paparazz-she, Dalliance, Spectacle of Yourself, Top of the Posh, Flaunting It and Peacocky. I hadn't planned on getting Top of the Posh, but it looked so nice next to Spectacle of Yourself. I'm going to wear them together today I think.

Dalliance is like the sleeper star to me. I didn't care for it at first, but upon seeing it in person... O... M...G...! Love! I intended to get Sex-pectations, but I was actually not feeling it. I wanted it to be a more true, brighter red.

I can't wait to wear Flaunting It, I think it's such a unique lip color! Really cool looking mauve-y goodness. And Peacocky... I doubt I'll get much wear out of it, but I couldn't resist!

These are the 1st large-sized MAC e/s I have so I haven't depotted them yet. I have no problem depotting blushes so I assume that I won't have any problem with these as long as I go slow & don't force it. I'll depot them over the weekend.

I got two additional Flaunting it.. it seems like a perfect colour for my ghostly face.. lol.

I am so glad you ladies are enjoying the Peacocky line.. believe it or not, it's broken many barriers... and will change a lot of mu from MAC in future
