Definitely, return them, don't swap them. There may actually be something wrong with the ingredients (or the configuration of ingredients) in the 2 you got! Also, compare the ingredients in Flaunting It & Vanity Fair & see if they share a common ingredient that the others don't have (assuming you bought others that are not causing a reaction for you). What I would do is go back, let the SA know of your experience &, then, exchange 1 of them & open it in front of the SA & apply it to see if the same thing happens. If not, them exchange the other; if yes, then return both of them.

Have any of you pale ladies got Super or Temper Tantra? How are they? For some reason they interest me, I usually stay away from those colours. I'm very curious though to see if I could wear them. :)
I LOVE Super! (NC15 w/ red lips) It doesn't look dark at all. I'd say it's sort of like how You've Got It cs/g looked over Call My Bluff l/s from In the Groove (a combo I love love love to death). It's really great to have that look all in one product with Super.

I haven't gotten Temper Tantra yet, so I haven't swatched it on my lips yet, but based on my hand swatch, it's not going to look super dark. I'm expecting a spice color with a mid-tone. I actually think this is the most fashion forward color in the collection and we are going to be seeing A LOT of it come the late summer and fall. It'll look great on any skin tone, especially with khaki beige and denim colored outfits.

I'm the same, NC15, so it's good to hear that it's a good colour for you! Maybe I really should try it, I might like it. :)

Getting Spectacle of yourself online tonight....must try and resist getting my min foundation, I need to use my studio tech first.
I have been thinking about colors that will look great with SOY all day today. I can't wait to use it with Firecracker from To The Beach, I think it will be a great combo.

Got Dalliance and Enchantee. Dalliance is very pretty, so metallic! Still havent tried it yet but excited to. Enchantee' is pretty, got kinda got gritty on me though. I want another color, but I think SOY is going to be my last thing from this coll. I need to stop myself before I get the whole coll! LOL And with spring collections coming out I gotta take it easy. This collection is sooooo amazing though

I am split on these eyeshadows. On the one hand, the texture sounds frigging awesome (like buttah!). I am still waiting for my little black box to see how buttery. Cuz none of these colors are really unique enough for me to deal with 1. higher price or 2. having to get a special palette for them.

I think the lipcolors are really sounding like more of the highlight of this collection for me. Maybe I will focus more on those. Then I can justify buying a blue liquid lipstick?

Odalisque is the first Peacocky item to sell out online! I'd been wondering what would be the first to go.

Just because the formula is so great, I added Temper Tantra to my Gulabi order this morning.
Liba, I think you're spot on about TT. My fingers are crossed that this will be an awesome autumn shade.

I also caved over the weekend and ordered Super. It should be here tomorrow, but if it is like Call my Bluff, I will love it.
I think I finally am done buying stuff from this collection. I think I have placed 6 orders now. LOL!

I ordered Dalliance and Noir Plum online. I got invited to an event at my local MAC boutique for this Sunday so I might pick up Odalisque as a gift for my 18 y.o godsister (I've gotten her hooked on MAC). The shadows are nice on their own but...I'm kinda hooked on the crack that is MAC pigment.

I thought I really wanted Odalisque but... I never got it and I don't regret passing it up. I hope you can find it else where though!

These are pretty much my thoughts on the collection. I really love the texture of the shadows, but I just didn't see colours that jumped out at me enough. Noir Plum is beautiful, but I find it looks so much like Parfait Amour. Unflappable likewise, but I have Smut. Prance was lovely, but it looked a lot like the Vintage Selection Paint Pot (and was more expensive, I might add). The list goes on... Bottom line is that the two shades I did get make me hungry for more, but I want them to be in colours that really stand out from the rest of Mac's line. That's a tall order with the number of colours they have, but I'm sure that they could do it.

The liquid lipsticks are liquid lust. I went back and swatched every other colour on my hand just to make sure there wasn't another that I wanted (and I'm still not 100% sure on Flaunting It). Keep these ones and make more.

And in answer to your question, consider how many red lipsticks, or pink ones, or peach or coral or nude or purple you justify buying. Surely you can justify buying one, single, lonely blue lipstick, no?

I'm sorry if you are sad but if it makes you feel better it can be duped a million ways from Sunday. Also I have an Odalisque that I plan to return because the SA put it in my bag instead of Ego. I only swatched it to make sure that I did in fact already have dupes of it so PM if you are interested, but you could probably still find it online at Nordstrom, Dillards, Saks, or Bloomies too. Good luck!

I'm thinking I might buy some of these for myself on Friday when I get paid. Noir Plum might just be calling my name! And Paparazz-she!

I tried a quick look to run to the grocery store with Coral Crepe p/p as a base with Tweet me on top all over the lid. Then I used Coppering on the outer 1/3-2/3 and on the crease and then Glamour Check in the inner corner and the crease over top of the Coppering. I like it but it's kinda too "neutral" for me...needs more oomph but I dont know what else to use with Tweet Me besides purple maybe or Cranberry? Any suggestions?

Could be beautiful with some blues! Then it would really be Twitter themed :p I'm thinking greens like Ego would also have potential...
