Hello there!!

To that obviously stressed out attorney, the ladies of this thread are most welcoming and friendly. While this is a first comment for me, I have watched this thread to see glimpses of Playland and quite enjoyed the camaraderie. Seek to cause friction on some other blog and take your nonsense elsewhere. . THANK YOU.

And have any of you ever purchased "all the items" from a collection? I am seriously planning to do that with this one.

:)

It would be very sweet of him! My fiance always says it's the best gift he's ever gotten me since I use it every single day. That sounds awesome! I debated having him add a light strip on top too but I didn't have a dimmer at first and the light was insane. I felt like I was going to get a tan from them :haha: He hid two power strips under the vanity drawer so I can plug in my blowdryer, straightener etc, and it's perfect. All you need is heavy duty double sided tape (It's usually thinner than the normal one). What type of bulbs are you using? I have low energy ones from Ikea but I'm thinking about switching them out to something closer to natural light since they do pull a tad yellow.
I bought natural daylight bulbs, the 5,000 whatchamacallit bulbs. Natural daylight is the best light to do your makeup in, so those are the ones i went with. 12 bulbs in total. I'll be blinded by the light, when I'm done, but my makeup with look fierce honey! *3 snaps*

Oh yes, oh yes---so guilty of buying an entire MAC collection---more than once. I haven't purchased any

MAC at all since October or November of last year, I think. What I have done is cheat on MAC, my first
love

with some other amazing brands. I'm afraid this affair has gotten serious, but I know MAC will take
me back once I find my MAC mojo.

Enjoy your amazing MAC haul.

:lmao: Yes i am thank you love :kissy: My mouth is a wee bit sore, but i can't tell if it's my toofer or my gums (she said it'd be sore from them have to pry them back a bit to push the crown down  ). But nothing a little tylenol or vodka can't fix :haha:

My son had his wisdom teeth out right after Christmas. He was fine in a couple of days but took the painkillers regularly.

They gave him both a valium beforehand and then laughing gas. Great for him, a nightmare for us. You know, kids grow in strength and size before your eyes and parental authority remains in place…until they're high. Have any of you ever tried to corral a 6'1" kid who doesn't want to walk slowly (but run), get into the car, or sit and rest after? If any of you need proof that you are now SERIOUSLY outmuscled by your man-cub, try that. Sheesh. He could and did push right THROUGH me. Totally out of character for him. Thankfully, his libido clearly wasn't compromised because the cute young dental assistant he was outrageously flirting with was able to get him into the car. Boys/men. Brain isn't working, but testosterone is forever.
girlhaha.gif

The only way I finally got him to sit on the couch (because telling him he needed to wasn't working and I certainly couldn't physically make him) was to suggest that we watch 'Epic Rap Battles of History" together on youtube. He finally passed out, but it took about 45 minutes.

You'll be fine - and you may get an entertaining story or two out of the surgery. ;)

Oh goodness. All this talk about widown teeth. I had all four of mine pulled at once back when I was 16. Worst mistake ever! The dentist did a hacked up job. My stitches fell apart. I was bleeding a lot & in a lot of pain constantly. I'm still having slight issues with my gums thanks to that quack dentist I went to. Augh!!!!!! Now my gums hurt thinking about it.

Let me know how they work out for you. My biggest concern was the heat.. but I guess I can deal with it if they look great.

I have 10 of those bulbs in my fixtures, the heat isnt a problem. The longest i've spent infront of them were 40 minutes and I didnt notice anything. Dunno about if you leave them on for longer though, perhaps they would get warm.

Okay so we set a date to go to ikea, what are the bulbs again? 5000 something? I can't believe we're finally doing this!!! My makeup setup is like this awful haphazard mess with mismatched incandescents on either side. I do my makeup then get out to the car and I'm like wtf, you have clown cheeks. I've actually more than once gone and sat out in the car to do my makeup because I needed natural light. I couldn't find the pic you put up of your setup, so if u guys have pics, show me! Or just tell me how to find them, I'm still figuring out this site! Omg this is so important I wrote it in my planner. I better have girlie girls or drag queens if I have kids someday so they can play with all this makeup I've hoarded!

I think I'm scarred for life (the forty-five minute ERBoH marathon would been enough for that).

How many times in a row can one person watch Hitler vs. Darth Vader?????

He fell asleep for almost an hour and he was rational when he woke up. Still buzzed, but he could be reasoned with. He has no memory of leaving the dentist or how much of a fight he put up afterwards. Probably a good thing.

Seriously, it definitely made me realize how much he (well, likely all men) are holding back their strength a lot of the time. It's not like he shoved me or hit me, but if I was in his way and he wanted to get by he just moved me out of his way without even slowing down.

My daughter was buzzed too, but at least I could physically manage her.

Pictures of teeth don't trouble me in the least. What scares me is having a third kid who will eventually need to have HER wisdom teeth out.

Yup, 5000 (natural daylight) is the colour of the light. The lower the number, the softer and more yellow the light, which is what you don't want.

Love the stories of your kids Audrey - first your youngest's adventures with the UD Electric Palette, and now this! Thanks for sharing and making me laugh so hard on an otherwise quite gloomy day! Much appreciated!

My wisdom teeth came in all kind of funky. My mouth had room for them to grow in but the first of my wisdom tooth got severely abscessed and made my whole face swollen and at the time I had to wait a month to get covered for dental insurance, so when I was finally able to go in I had to have it pulled along with the normal tooth next to it, I was 23. Got the rest pulled at 24 and 25. I swear I hang out at the dentist so much cause of my teeth now (thanks genetics) The dentist doesn't bother me now.

He better appreciate he has a mom who knows what that is in the first place.

I'm sure you'll find a good time to bring up this whole saga to him for a laugh.

I'd say if you wanted one combo, go for Toying Around + Live It Up, based on your photo, or if you like something light - then do Sweet Experience + Brightside!
