Live it up alone, two thin layers


Live it up ontop of Sleek - Tangerine Scream Lipstick.

So I just got a sample of Live it up Lipglass (And Primrose from Proenza Schouler, gonna throw myself over that after this ). This one has medium coverage I would say but it definitely wants to lie in the fine lines. it is absolutely freaking GORGEOUS ontop of other orangey lipsticks though, I tried it on Tangerine Scream from Sleek and It just felt nice and smooth and made the lips feel more moisturized.

That is GORGEOUS!!!!!! Thank you so much!! Definitely coming home with me!!!!

Wow that would suck if it was a Douglas exclusive in Switzerland, too. Tho I can't imagine they'd do that here. I've already ordered 4 of the lippies on ebay and I can't wait for the collection to come out

I'm sorry for supporting the ebay sellers, but the lippies are even cheaper on there than they are here in Switzerland (we pay around 31$ for 1 lipstick), siiigh.

If I lived in Switzerland, I would be doing the same thing! Haha! Enjoy them!

I have the Vanity Hollywood Mirror and have been looking to get new bulbs. The ones that come with it are 25W 120V and they give off a horrible orange like light. Called the company and they were no help in regards to which ones to change it to. So thanks for this Erin! I will look into the 5000 natural daylight ones this weekend

I'd say if you wanted one combo, go for Toying Around + Live It Up, based on your photo, or if you like something light - then do Sweet Experience + Brightside!

I really like it. Aside of the bulbs giving off the wrong tint (too orange) it's pretty good. It does give off a lot of heat though. Don't know if it's because of the bulbs or what. But once I get the new bulbs sure I'll love it even more! Just took it off the base and had my husband put it on the wall so now I have much more space. That base is pretty big! Keep that in mind if you do decide to get it

I bought natural daylight bulbs, the 5,000 whatchamacallit bulbs. Natural daylight is the best light to do your makeup in, so those are the ones i went with. 12 bulbs in total. I'll be blinded by the light, when I'm done, but my makeup with look fierce honey! *3 snaps*

Any brand will work. I tried finding the pretty round bulbs, but they were expensive as shit, so i went with the spirally CFLs that'll last forever and are environmentally friendly. Plus they're cheaper. I got 4/$8. So i got em all for $24.

Maybe it was more exciting when we had the color stories earlier and more swatches? 'made every collection exciting. I know how excited I get when I get to see everything. I sit around in that back room for 4,5,or even 6 hours fooling around with everything in every combination I can think up, then my friend parades me around to all the other MAs. Or maybe you just have enough stuff that the latest MAC collections seem a little too same-y? I know I get much more excited for the new formulas, rather than just the color collections.

That movie is very very adorable and funny - Judy Holliday was a brilliant Broadway actress who did very few starring roles in film. Her speciality was ditzy but canny blondes who knew how to stand up for themselves. Born Yesterday is another classic she won the Academy Award for. If they show them on Turner Classics or they're available for rent, you will love them (and catch yourself saying how they sure don't make 'em like that any more).

Bingo--YES. I seriously think I have a case of MAC overload and some of the products do seem repetitive.

Just spun around in my chair, whipped my hair to one side and in a husky voice I asked hubs if we could do something special tonight

He said, "sure babe what'd
ya have in mind"---in my normal voice I said, "rub my earlobes." The confused look on his face was priceless---and then he howled laughing, realizing I was messing
w/him.

I love TCM---my fav network to watch on rainy afternoons. I'll have watch for Born Yesterday to air.
