I apply with foundation brush, blend with a 187 and that's it. I did try with my fingers which work quite well -- I just don't like to use my hands too much as I touch a lot of stuff and then wind up with makeup everywhere.

I wouldn't recommend Adjust for NW15. Glad you passed.

How are you guys/gals applying the cream? Brush or fingers?

Thank you.
Brush here too - I tried fingers, but it was harder to apply it sheerly and evenly that way. My MA used the 191 because he likes the squared off tip and the ability to pat it on with that one, rather than sweeping it. I own a 190 and was using that instead, but then I'd go over the CCs with foundation using the large oval Masterclass brush. I've also just used the Masterclass brushes (large for face and the smaller oval under the eyes and on the brow bone) and then put powder on top and that was excellent. Those brushes are just the tops for face products. 'Not so easy to clean and dry quickly, though…I may have to just get an extra one or two - the large one is awesome for blush too but I haven't used it for that as much as I'd like because I'm already using it for foundation and these CCs.

The past couple of days I've gotten a good look using the P&P Natural Radiance in pink under the eyes, on the cheeks, nose, forehead and a touch on the chin, then using Careblend powder on top. It makes the skin look extremely even and has a radiant matte effect that's very interesting and natural. Really makes my powder last all day. I'm not a huge fan of adding extra steps to my makeup routine, but I'm going to have to say these CC creams and the Natural Radiance primer really have a noticeable effect - really evens things out very well.

Well, perhaps someone here can try to help. What types of color correction interests you? Your picture looks gorg, so it's hard to tell that you need anything at all! :)

Something for under eyes would be nice. I use benefits ooh la lift and most times don't even use a concealer. If anything would help with acne hyperpigmentation that would be nice also. Even after using a liquid foundation and concealer, they still shine through.

Honestly, I don't think any of us will be able to help you via the internet. With these products, it's not just finding the right color (which can be a little tricky), but also seeing the best application techniques for your individual needs. You can't just slap these things on and go.

My suggestion is call the counter in advance and ask if you can make an appointment with one of the full-time MAC MAs (every counter's got one, but they also have a lot of temp workers who aren't trained up on the products the way the official full-timers are), or ask if they're doing an event coming up with a trainer or specialist coming in specially for the event. Then you'll be guaranteed to get someone who really knows what he/she's doing and will get the best consultation and training you'd need. Heck, there's no way I would have sprung for any of these items if it hadn't been for my really amazing MA using them on me first.

If you don't take this precaution, you may wind up with products that just sit around not getting used, so take the time out to really find out if they're worth it for you or not. At the very least, it'll be fun and relaxing to get your makeup done! Good luck!

I assumed so... But that is definitely a good idea and something I will look into to!!!

Well, i pushed the button. I got Illuminate lavender and Neutralize yellow compacts and Illuminate lavender cream. I'm on Low Buy and i know these are perm but they are things i can use daily, they're basics.

I got Two Day free shipping code in an e-mail from MAC. But my UPS driver never leaves small boxes in the "hidden" place i've suggested, so i have to come home in the middle of the day and wait for her. But, hey, it will still beat the minimum of 8 work days plus any intervening weekends it usually takes for MAC to get here. I'm actually really excited to get them - i hope that Neutralize really works. It's gonna be living in my purse!

I didn't buy locally because there was also a lipstick from a recent collection in there that's sold out at my MAC shop.

I agree with your description.
This is just my iPhone camera, but I think you can see my skin. I have both Adjust and Illuminate powders and liquid on from the makeover.
Love this look, your skin just looks naturally flawless and glowing! May I ask what MAC foundation is closest to your skin tone and where the products were used? (and if you know, how applied, the brushes and all) I still love this hair color on you BTW.

Thank you! I always think my skin looks like a wreck, but I think every one thinks that way. And I am so loving the pink hair. It's fading a little now and I have dark roots (why does my hair only grow when it's been colored???). I'm using:
  • MAC Studio Fix NW 13
  • CC Illuminate cream under eyes in a v, a small stripe down my nose, and a small amount above my cupid's bow
  • CC Cream in adjust over my cheeks
  • CC powder in Illuminate all over face
  • So Sweet, So Easy cream blush behind the apples of the cheeks
  • Perfect Topping on top of cheek bones and nose
I used the 188 brush for applying and blending everything. I should haven used a fluffier brush for the CC powder, but I was on a roll and didn't switch. I am loving Perfect Topping. I have two; one with a lot of lavendar and one with just a little. I think it suits my skin perfectly. The CC products are really great and I use them every day now. I hope this helps. Please let me know if something isn't clear or you want more detail :) I love how we help each other!!

Just a heads up ladies (and gents). For those of you using these on the eyes and lips, these are NOT eye and lip safe, so use at your own risk.
