Well, the only thing I can think is, that's probably the best way to evenly moisten the product before applying. If you use a wet brush, just because of how the hairs lay, it could cause unevenness and streak on applying. This is why I never would use a wet brush with the pressed pigments - it would dry unevenly and crease and get crusty. I'd just mist my eyes with Fix+ after application, instead. Putting the Fix+ directly on the pan would be smoother, but yeah, kind of weird from a hygiene standpoint, since those p/ps feel so moist to begin with. Maybe their water content is already high enough to allow it?

I love this artist a lot too - she's her own living example of her artistry! She is absolutely gorgeous and so glam when she's done with her work.
Looks like it lessened the fallout too. I didn't have hardly any fallout when I applied it with my dry finger though.

I can hardly wait to get my hands on Midnight!

Slightly off topic, but how do you guys store your loose pigments? I plan on selling most of what I have, but I would like to keep just a little bit for myself of each color. What type of container would you, that has a great seal and doesn't compromise the pigment in any way? Any and all input is greatly appreciated!

Plastic containers would be fine since that's what they are stored in to begin with. You can get similar ones at hobby stores for cheap.

fingers are pretty good, but you know my thing about the silicon applicators. those still are the best for me!

I couldn't find a link to the silicone applicators on the Mac website, and when I inquired about these at my counter they looked at me like I had three heads and had no idea what I was talking about. Does anyone have a link to the applicators please?

Thanks, I'll have to give that a try.

BTW, remember you were talking about MAC and their pro free shipping code? Well, I really did hate to see it go to waste. It doesn't take a whole lot for me to be swayed by any invitation on their part for me to purchase. After seeing that sweet PP tutorial by Tiffany, I caved. I already have Deeply Dashing, so I ended up ordering Sweet Treat (?), Jet Couture and that same brown liner she used in her tutorial for that gorgeous smoky eye look. I wonder what lippy and blush she is wearing in that video. Anyone happen to know or would like to take a stab at it?

Not sure of the lippie she used. I didn't want the code to go to waste either but I had JUST ordered 8 or 9 pressed pigments (sadly I can't remember anymore lol) and then ordered a bu Heaux, 2 empty quad palettes so I can make my Nudes & Metallics palettes...and I think I have a brush in that order...I'll know tomorrow or Tuesday lol. There really wasn't anything else that I wanted except for Midnight. So hopefully another one of the pro codes will show up for us. It taught me to pay attention to the emails...although it doesn't help if you order on the day of a release and they don't send you the email until the next day (I swear I get EVERY collection email the day after it releases lol)
