My Beaming PP has shipped. Can't wait to try it. What brushes are you all using to apply them? I think I remember liba, I think it was liba, not totally sure though, saying those new applicators work well with them. I don't think I plan on buying these though. Which brush have you all found to be best with the Pressed Pigments?
Fingers and a 242 work best for me. Also if its too sparkly for you put a paint pot over it!

I haven't tried these yet. I love sparkle too so it seems like a sin. Are they like the crushed metal pigments at all? Like do they get weird and clumpy if you use them wet?

The 215 brush is what i've been using with my PP's. When the last collection came out that was the brush that was showcased with them. I love these pigments, I have Jet Couture; Deeply Dashing; Day Gleam; Smoky; Enlightening and Amethyst. Here are some swatches, they are swatch as I have listed them. My favourites are Jet Couture and Deeply Dashing.

Food vs. MAC. Funny story. My husband was to bring me some lunch so I asked him to stop at the P.O. to pick up my package. He came, gave me the food, grabbed something he needed and left. A few minutes later he calls and says "why didn't you ask me for your package?" I was like "AAAGHH!! I guess I wanted the food more! LOL!!" I couldn't believe I let that happen. Usually the food has to wait until I open my package but this time I completely forgot. He also wanted to know what was in it because he won't be back until later this evening/tonight and wanted to make sure nothing meltable was in it. Don't worry honey, it's just my Beaming Pressed Pigment.

I can't believe I did that and now I have to wait.

OK, i double checked and of these Warming Heart and Beaming are listed as Limited Edition. These have been around since last August, and they are not in the Goodbyes section, but who knows how long they'll be around.
I cannot tell any practical difference in vitro between Warming Heart and Day Gleam. I do both plus Beaming as well. I don't use often because of the fall out issue, but I have not tried with MM yet.

I really wanted (and still hope) that the pressed pigments would include some matte or semi matte finish textures of previously released pigments such as Smoke Signals, Maroon, Cool Pink, etc. I bet those would FLY off the shelves. My favorite pigments that I'd LOVE to see in pressed form would include:

Fairy Light, Naked, (all the nakeds), Museum Bronze, Warm Ivory (? I could be off on the name), Pastorale, Jardin Aires, Night Light!!!!!, Burnt Burgundy, Viz A Violet, Electric Coral, Cool Pink, and Sky Blue...

I loooove the applicators with them and sort of ignore the recommendation of how many time you can use one before tossing.

I'd say fingers would be the #2 way for me to apply them or a flat synthetic brush like the 242 in a pinch. I think the duo fiber eye brush that they're repromoting in Tropical Taboo might work well too, especially to keep down the fallout, but I haven't tested that out yet.

I got my package! My first Pressed Pigment. I can't believe after all this time I found myself wanting to try these. Beaming is so pretty in the pot I don't even want to swatch it. LOL!

These are all so beautiful! I want, I want, I want so bad. Thank God I have a few already and there will be time to delay getting the ones that are not LE. I really do need to use them but I do love having them, lol. There is absolutely no getting around these for me. I am doomed!

Debbs I just got my first one yesterday. Haven't even tried it yet but I have a feeling I will love it and will definitely need to grab some of these gorgeous shades. OMG MAC. Will I ever be able to leave you the hell alone? LOL!!

I think the names under Midnight and Jet Couture are switched around. Thanks for this post Honi.

Copperhead, you are not going to regret getting them! They are so flattering and sparkling in a good way. I have the applicator thingy that Liba raves about. I do need to try those out. I have used a tiny bit of Too Face Glitter Glue to adhere them with a tiny bit of paint-pot or cream color base. I dont get to use them as often as I would like but I will. I have a notebook ready to write down what is a must-have on launch day and which ones are perm that I can wait on. I am not playing with these babies. They deserve lots of love!
