and with reasons !!! you girls have a lot of good advices and when you don't have a MAC store nearby it is so nice to see good swatches and opinions... downside is....

Don't be afraid to use it! The pps go a long way - especially if you're using one of the silicone applicators. Deeply Dashing is my #1 most used shadow - bought it when it came out and I use it nearly every time I wear shadow - and I've just taken a small layer off the top. Damson is fabulous and meant to be worn and enjoyed!!!

I finally made it down to my local MAC, for the first time since i got home, to pick up some PPs. I got Moth and Black Grape (yeah, "i don't wear dark eye shadow", but i'm Team Purple, so how could i resist!?!) and Lime Ice. I also tested Damson, which was gorgeous, but they were sold out of it, and when i checked on the MAC site today, they were too. Waaaaah!
So i hied myself to the Nordstrom site and it looks like they still have it... Whew!
They were out of Pink Pepper, but it's coming to me via another Specktrite.
I finally made it down to my local MAC, for the first time since i got home, to pick up some PPs. I also tested Damson, which was gorgeous, but they were sold out of it, and when i checked on the MAC site today, they were too. Waaaaah!

From what i've been reading - at least here - it sounds like the original production run of Pink Pepper fell rather short, since so many places either didn't get it or had really short stock.
I got mine in the mail this AM and i think it's gorgeous! I hope it's restocked so others can enjoy its beauty.

I looked at loreal eyeshadow infinity in Cherie Marie and its a pretty close match. I don't have PP to compare side by side. I have used the loreal product before and it is a good product for a cream to powder e/s with good wear time and minimal creasing.
