I looked at loreal eyeshadow infinity in Cherie Marie and its a pretty close match. I don't have PP to compare side by side. I have used the loreal product before and it is a good product for a cream to powder e/s with good wear time and minimal creasing.
I want that golden sparkle though. I googled swatches &Cherie Marie looks like it lacks the sparkle that PP has. They do appear similar, though!

Although PP sold out, I'm thinking that Damson is the favorite of many. I'm guessing lilinah is correct in thinking that there weren't enough PPs made. I can't wait to get mine! Does the purple show up on you?

I get the purple in Damson to show up if I apply it with a brush. When I use those applicators I keep yelling about, it's just straight bronze gold. I love how varied it is. It's my #2 favorite pressed pigment, after Deeply Dashing.

I just got Deeply Dashing after hearing so much about it here :) I like it but I'm having trouble applying it- the other PP that I have (amethyst) I just spread with my finger over a base such as a nyx jumbo pencil but when I tried that with DD today it did not work at all it went on a little patchy and took off a little of the base.... I really do love the color though, so do you have any tips on how to best apply it please ?

Such pretty sparkley goodness...& I don't do sparkle

It's good sparkle that doesn't get all crusty or patchy or crease-y. I'm sure it looks great on ya!

Try using a creamier base like a paint pot. I use painterly and then I use a 239 brush and pack it on...don't sweep just pat on the lid until you get the desired coverage...also don't forget to tap the brush so you don't get fallout on your cheeks... I hope this helps!

Thanks it really does :) do you only use it on its own or with other colors too? If so how do you proceed ? I've seen on tutorials that with lighter PP you should do the crease first and then gently pat the PP on the lid but with darker PP can you use them on the crease with an eyeshadow on the lid ?

I have both so I'll post swatches when I get home later tonight.
Hate to break it to you, but they're not a match. I had a heck of a time capturing the true color of PP on camera no matter what light I was in; the first flash pic was the closest I could get it.

Pink Pepper and Cherie Merie:

No flash: Cherie Merie (L) / Pink Pepper (R)

When I used pp I only apply them on the lid due the fallout I don't try to blend them. I use dark or dark on the crease and then a regular e/s on the crease and outer corners. Pigments can be messy lol! Right ?

I actually like the CM color better, but the Pressed piggie formula is easier to work with. TY for posting swatches.
