Damson is just gorgeous. I am so sorry that it is not an immediate love for you too!
Walk away for a while and revisit it in about a month. Maybe things will change and the two of you can have a love thang!

Damson definitely has a bit of a yellowish/greenish undertone, so if you're a bit sallow around the eyes, I could see it having an unwelcome cast to it. It works on me because of my eye color and the purple aspect of it, but if you have the bluish type dark circles, then the purple would be bad on that. If you have bluish circles and some sallowness then that would be a bad Damson double-whammy. Plus it's a pretty dark color that i think will look better when we get all the way past summer into fall and winter.

I'd say use a true peach colored base with it - that'd probably be the best way to prime things. Peach blush and peach nude lipsticks would be a good combo with it too. 'Hope you can make it work! It's a color that looks good on a lot of different people, but it's really hard to make a color that works for 100% of people, without it being a little boring too - and Damson is not boring - that's for sure!

I was curious what everyone thought about Sweet Acting...I am trying to decide if I should get it and for reference, I am NW/NC20 with hazel eyes.

Yep, just looked at the tracking status again. My Pink Pepper is shipping from Maryland, which explains why its basically overnight shipping. And the rest is coming from Iowa.

It is the same for me, I just don't feel like I HAVE TO get it, it doesn't appeal to me that much... Plus I have real trouble using eye stuff in dark colors when I can't blend them, for ex I have Deeply Dashing and Eclair paint pot and I very rarely reach for them (eventhough a nice Spektrite gave me cool advice on how to use DD thanks again

I'm just trying to resist getting it just because everyone says it's so awesome :)
