. MA's aren't always right, though or perhaps, the undertones in her skin would clash with IC? I don't know. I'm an NC43-45. If people are discouraged from IC then it's got me thinking I can snatch up a backup pretty soon

I think it's because you have high cheekbones. I can get away with a lot too for that reason. When I apply blush the light reflects off it more and it looks more intense than when I swatch on my hand. Some MAs at my MAC counter thought Blooming (from Cult of Cherry) would be too light for me but on my face it looks pretty - it's one of my faves!

...and YES if you love it treat yourself to a back-up!

Oh Boo! I missed my delivery. I have to wait until Monday. Why do they come at 10 in the morning? I knew I should have paid for 2 day shipping. Oh well. At the last minute, I decided to delete Garb from my shopping cart but now I'm really curious about it. I have been such a blush fiend lately that I just may be tempted to check out the collection tomorrow in person. Today, I'm wearing Springshine and I'm so in love with it! You would think that would dissuade me from seeking out Garb.

I find it funny how everyone is like "Ooo Instant Chic, Ripe Peach, toss!"

After all that hype and raving on RP and now people are selling it off. haha
This is exactly why I don't buy backups of anything. Bc there is always something new and better that comes out later. On my skin tone, IC and RP look exactly the same with the EXCEPTION of RP being smoother on me and IC looking ashy. Though, I am glad its working out for you ladies!

Got my lowly order of Instant Chic & Cut To Fit

well, I love CTF! It is the prettiest red brown bronze. It really makes the green in my hazel eyes pop. And, its very pretty used smudged just under your lower lash liner.

Instant Chic on me is just a very soft pretty natural peach.

I still LOVE Ripe Peach.

on me, Ripe Peach is more on the Peach side & Instant Chic is more sheer/light on the pink/neutral color side of peach

I feel Naked Lunch is my dupe for Tissue Weight...I use NL every time so why fix something that ain't broke I say

Glad you're loving Instant Chic

. I really wish I liked colors like Cut to Fit on me, but I just don't. I don't like the mix of the olive in my skin and colors like that. Makes me look ill

. I bought Amber lights and Coppering b/c it's supposed to be so awesome for brown girls, but I'm not feeling it. The only sort of similar colors I can do is the quad 4 from Spring forecast. Now I can work with those.

originally didn't plan to pick up anything from this collection but just stopped by the mac counter after school today and boy am i glad i did!

i picked up fold and tuck l/g and the coral crepe p/p! super happy with both of them. she put coral crepe on my eyes and i loved how springy it looked! the texture is soft and smooth as well. i plan on wearing this by itself cause honestly it looks gorgeous alone *happy dance* yaya my first paint pot~ woo-hoo. i'd definitely recommend checking this one out at least

I count this as my first paint pot too b/c I don't even use Soft Ochre. I can see myself finishing this product. That has never happened.

Sorry about that. There are no shimmers for both blushes. The shimmer to see was a left over from the eyeshadows swatch. Garb is similar to Instant Chic with a matte finish =)
