same here! i think this is definitely going to be my spring/summer simple eye look especially when the weather gets hot i don't want to be wearing a lot of makeup. it'd be super easy to just swipe this over my lid and i'm good to go. (i'm not sure if this creases or not but i don't have a problem with that as i have a monolid )

Whoever compared the Garb, Instant Chic with Ripe Peach, thank you very much! You saved me some money, I think. I swatched Garb and Instant Chic at the store today. Then, came back and compared them with Ripe Peach. On me, they look really close (yellowish part to Garb, coral part to Instant Chic)!

Should I still get Instant Chic? I was really looking forward to it.

Anyway, always fun to visit the counter for new collections!

Just back and I have to say the only thing from this collection that left the store with me was Coral Crepe p/p. I want to love coral lipsticks but they dont seem to love my lips. Instead of Instant Chic blush I ended up with Pinch Me :lol it was prettier on me.

I took some pictures yesterday of Coral Crepe on my eye, but I am not crazy about how they turned out. I was watching this WE show called the locator and it made me cry like a baby. Kinda messed up my face makeup.

Gazette grey did not turn into muddy poo on me! It's a gorgeous grey green brownish color. So pretty with tissueweight on the lid and GG in the crease. I can see this becoming my new go to for everyday. TW is a lighter slightly pinker/corally version of naked lunch. I find it to be a little more opaque too.

I've never bought a back up with MAC before ever. I think i'm going to break my back up virginity. These chromographic pencils are exactly what I've needed all these years!!! I hate white on the waterline but these are perfect! I love you MAC! Happy dance!!!!

Am I the only one who thinks Coral Crepe looks a lot like Perky? I haven't seen that comparison made (maybe I'm blind).

On another note, can brunettes with fair, cool skintone wear coral lips? I don't think it works on me, and neither do coral blushes. But I want Fold & Tuck!

It's difficult to get Tissue weight to show up properly on pictures. I think the camera can't pick up the pink tone in it. At the store, I can see the pink when swatch on my hand. It is a nice color if you don't have any highlighters in your collection but I thought it was pretty close to naked lunch and Jest Hey leans more on the golden side compared to Tissue Weight.

Coral Crepe is super bright orange that's somewhat gaudy on me LOL. I know lots of people can pull it off but on my particular skin tone, it's a no no. Just imagine applying Made To Order on your lids...they are very close in color with CC as a more intense coral.

Agree! White just doesn't look right on the waterline but these babies are just right! I think I'm going to exchange Instant Chic for the NC30 pencil. *duck* I know lots of ladies here love IC but I'm just not feeling it. It doesn't blow me out of the water as expected.

I totally agree! On me, they are quite different and definitely both worth having!

This collection totally took me by surprise in person. Even though I have been really turned off of lipglasses lately, Fold and Tuck got me hook, line and sinker when I layered it over Made To Order. I walked away with both of those, as well as Dressmaker Dressmaker, Instant Chic and the lighter chromographic pencil (which I totally expected to hate, but now couldn't live without!). I'm picking up Originality tomorrow at another counter (plus Just Add Colour, which has been haunting me since its release).

I couldn't believe when the MUA told me that I was purchasing the last chromographic pencil, IC, F&T and Made to Order in the store! Plus, they were already sold out of Originality and had put a serious dent in the rest of their stock. Sounds like what some labelled early as a boring collection has been quite the success after all!

What an unexpected delight this collection turned out to be. Although originally I only had Coral Crepe on my wishlist, I ended up picking up quite a bit more. My final haul:

Coral Crepe
Chromagraphic pencil (the lightest one)
Gazette Grey e/s (looks great over Dirty GPS)
Instant Chic blush
Brown Bag n/p (surprisingly lovely on a fair skinned gal like me and with just the right amount of shimmer to keep it interesting)

I urge you if you are unsure about something and have an opportunity to swatch or try on, PLEASE do it. Some of these things don't sound great in description but actually are quite lovely.

I am a very fair, cool-toned (NC15) brunette, and I've recently embraced the corals! Sometimes I find that pulling corals a little more pink with a pinkish-coral lipglass mixed can make them more wearable for me. You might try layering a darker lipliner underneath as well. I also find corals really flattering with a brown smokey eye on me. Give it a try - I love my Fold and Tuck!

Hey shontay, would you be able to show us how Instant Chic looks on you? I'm NC45 too but I'm afraid that it'll turn out ashy on me but I'd love to see how it looks you since you're NC45 and said that it looks great! Thanks in advance hon!!
