XD Thanks god that most of the colours will not suit me. I'm positively sure that coral crepe will make me look like someone just punched me. T_T And to think I was so hyped about this collection. OTL

Ehh, from those swatches, I am not feeling Gazette Grey. I will definately have to see it in person. I am hoping I can skip it.

^^ I was excited for it, but now I'm thinking the pay off will be poor and it will just look muddy on my eyes :s Definitely one to try in person....

if your lips are pigmented, skip it. it has a tendency to turn your lips muddy and blue and really weird due to how sheer it is. i ended up b2m ing mine even though it was full...... its not really gold its a sheer tan...

i want tissueweight to use ONLY as a highlight!!! gazette grey slightly reminds me of saturnal, but other than that, its its own colour.

Pass on Archetype then...if it's not wow'ing me then it's not worth a b2m. I will save my empties for something i really want...

I was going to get Gazette Grey but whoever said it reminded her of mud...well that's pretty much right. It has little sparkles but disappears once you swatch it...

I'm going to the pro store Saturday to buy some stuff. I hope this collection is available. If I get in the doorway and see it I'll either rush it or drop where I stand.

I saw this collection today and I was actually more impressed than I thought I would be. Gazette grey totally stood out to me when I saw the display. It is an army greenish/gray with golden sparkle. Very pretty in the pot but swatched a bit chalky which was a disappointment. I loved loved loved tissue weight eye shadow. It is going to make a great highlight and it does look like a lighter version of rice paper. More white than gold.

I also loved Instant Chic blush. It is really soft and pigmented. I don't normally go for peach shades but it was just too pretty on and really brightened up my face.

I also really liked Dressmaker Dressmaker lipstick.

I was disappointed in Coral Crepe paint pot. It is too burnt coral for my taste but I know if will look lovely on a lot of people.

Everything else was so-so.

So all in all I pre-ordered Tissue Weight e/s, Dressmaker Dressmaker, and Instant Chic blush.

Can't wait for next Thursday!

hmmm... ya know how if you lay shroom next to orb, orb is peachier? but when you swatch orb, it isn't really that peachy? well, tissueweight swatches how orb looks in the pan. does that make sense?
