Paints are one of my favorite MAC items and they DO NOT CREASE on me!!
Can you imagine if they release Flammable, Hot + Sour, and Tan Ray with To The Beach? Those colors would fit perfectly with the shadows.
OOO i have 2 Tan Ray's...i will have to try em with these...
so why do you guys think that mac is coming out with all these corals? i already have vegas volt and ever hip? from the liberty collection. is dressmaker really unique? i know there's more corals to come in the summer collection..to the beach..etc.

They are!!
It was my first type of eyeshadow primer

Hmm I said I was trying to skip this collection but a few things peak my interest and I'm undecided. So my want list of items that I need to look further into are:
- Memorabilia e/s (ugh, you purples
)
- Chromagraphic Pencil
I hope I dont like the blushes
And I will probably get Hey instead of Tissue Weight.
I don't recall if anyone mentioned how Tissue Weight compares to Naked Lunch?

Coral is such a spring color, I feel like people tend to change to wearing coral once it's warmer outside, excluding any trends for that spring. So it is only appropriate that MAC should be coming up with so many corals right now.
I'm loving it!
I'd say Memorabilia is a warm, greyed purple, while Poison Pen is a cool, greyed purple. Being that PP is a Matte2, it's much smoother and more pigmented than Memorabilia.
Top: Memorabilia
Bottom: Poison Pen
NW/NC 15, No base

I think its on the Pantone color list for spring/summer. Corals and peaches are everywhere.
Thank you SO much Karin. I am going to skip Memoribilia now. I just spent the last hour swatching my entire e/s collection on paper. I took pics and will post in the swatch thread. I don't need another eyeshadow, ever, but that won't stop me.
I was joking to DH about having an embarassingly large e/s collection and he said, "Does it make you happy?" and I said yes of course and then he said, "Then that's all that matters Honey." Gosh, I love him.

I would have to say this might just be the 2nd collection I'll be skipping. But we'll see what happens when I hit the counters on Thursday. Might just ruin my entire plan.

Awwww. Sometimes I have doubts about all my e/s, especially that I have so many and rarely get to use each one. But from now on I will think of that - it does make me happy
As do pretty MSF's and soft brushes
As for this collection - originally I didn't think I was interested in anything at all, but I'm really considering Made to Order, Dressmaker and Fold and Tuck. But I need to swatch for myself first - does anyone know when it will be out in Canadian stores?
That's an epic collection lady. I fully support it.
I just tried Coral Crepe without the Too Faced primer and I applied it mostly with my finger and blended it out with a brush. It turned out MUCH better. I don't know how long it would last on my lid like that, but it looked the way I was hoping. Maybe it would hold up nicely, because it was a bitch to wipe off, even with makeup remover. I don't know.
I'll play again when I have more time on my hands. I was thinking what I would do with this if I wanted to put shadows on top. Starting to think of Hot Hot Hot, Straw Harvest and Nanogold.
