I have the Paula Dorf pencil like this but I think it is a lil more peach toned than the MAC one. Honestly, doing the waterline on me looks a little strange

That pencil is haunting me, I had a dream about it. I'm gonna have to get one at some point or I'll forever wonder. Yeah, issues.

It's so funny you say that...I always think I look like something's seriously wrong with me in some way when I line my waterline. I can't quite figure it out, but damn does it look strange. I'm thinking a nude color might work for me, but who knows?

I got enough corals from SCF and GMLOL collections.
No paint pots, either. I have one and I rarely use it. Poor Perky.

But I'm so excited for the blushes and eyeshadows.

I may not go the the counter today, but those who go, have fun!!!

yes, it was haunting me to the point where I just had to order it.

I can do dark lining on my waterline, but I don't know about the light yet.

OK, now I'm just going to have to get it!

I have issues with darkness (redness) on the outer corner of my left eye - I may try to see if that helps....but we'll see about the waterline......hey, ya never know!

I just ordered the pencil......no will power.

What MAC counter do you lurk? I'm moving back to Ottawa this weekend (moved for University) but I'm surprised we've never crossed paths! I usually go to the one at Bayshore and then Rideau on occasion (I live just outside of Ottawa, Rideau is a pain to get to)

I live right behind IKEA so I tend to go to the Bayshore one most of the time. But on occasions or when I have B2M's I go to Rideau; I work not too far from downtown. I'm surprised we never crossed path too, but maybe we should! Drop me a message next time you're going maybe we can go together, I'm thinking when To the Beach launches.

I'm going to the store in Rideau today as I'm planing on a Nars haul in Riedau at the same time

Checked out the collection today..my MA laughs at me bc she always knows I'm there for something when a collection comes out

Will post swatches later on, but wanted to give my take on it.

Frankly, it was a nice simple collection. I swatched the new peach paintpot..and came home with it

It's not Mythology in color but thats one regular shadow I would put over top of it. Very smooth.

Dressmaker and Made to Order-Dressmaker is a light peachy color. It looked fine on my lips, but Made to Order was better. MTO is more orange. MTO is very similar to Surprise Me from one of the Christmas collections last year. Surprise Me though, is slightly more coral. If you are on a budget, you wouldn't need both SM and MTO.

Instant Chic-pretty, and showed on me lightly after two swatches. A light peach/pink.

The peachy lipgloss (forgot the name) looked so similar to Prenninal High Style l/g in the London collection. PHS is MUCH more pinker. I swatched it together with Lychee Luxe too and have plans to go back and get Lychee. Wore MTO and Lychee together out of the store. The new gloss and Lychee were closer in comparison than PHS.

At checkout, I swatched Fresh Salmon. Its so freaking pretty, who knows why I never got it! If you have it, pair with PHS.

Back with my tiny little haul. I got Instant Chic (duh

) and Gazette Grey. Skipped Tissueweight cause it's pretty but not special. GG is not overly exciting, but looks more green than grey on me, and I love the gold sparkles.

I am planning to go back for another Instant Chic on payday. IMO, it is different enough from both Shy Beauty and Hipness to own. Hipness is much brighter, and more pink. Shy Beauty is lighter and more pink. Instant Chic is sheer, like all sheertone blushes, but can be easily built up. It is a true pale peach. Not too warm or orange on me. Love it.

I have been kind of quiet about it, but I ended up selling Ripe Peach. I found that mine was mostly yellow gradient, and it looked funny on me unless I only used the "pinker" side. I liked it, but wasn't happy with the entire product, only half of it. Instant Chic is miles better, IMO. I have never in my life backed up a blush immediately, but I plan to with this one. I have to go back out right now, but will take pics later comparing Instant Chic to Hipness and Shy Beauty.

I honestly don't know what to get from this collection. I was anticipating it and now i feel blah..I thought the blushers would be more interesting..I already have Light over Dark and i love it.

I just got my black box!

Instant Chic is SUCH an amazing blush! I think I'm gonna follow Audrey's lead and backup--it's a buildable peach-coral that adds such a nice, natural flush to my cheeks. This stuff is gold!

Made to Order l/s is an extremely pretty coral. It makes my blue eyes pop! It's significantly less pink than Fresh Salmon--warmer, but not so much that cooler skintones couldn't pull it off, I think. For kicks, I also swatched it against VG Cyndi, which is more berry-red than MTO.

Dressmaker, Dressmaker is MTO's lighter cousin that leans more peach. It doesn't have shimmer like MTO does and, over my pigmented lips, it gives a bright peach-coral color. Just like MTO, it makes my baby blues stand out!

Fold and Tuck l/g is a GORGEOUS coral with a slight pearlescence to it (not shimmer by any means, but don't think of anything super-pearly, either) that looks so gorgeous on. It's closer to MTO than it is to Dressmaker x2, but it's also both brighter in tone and more coral-pink to my eyes. I also may have to get a backup of this baby!

Swatches to come! Overall, I'm extremely impressed with my Pret-a-Papier order. I'll end up backing up for my 2nd and 3rd time ever with this haul! (the first time was Lollipop Loving, but that was stolen by a certain ex-roommate of mine. grrr)

I might be changing my mind again about this collection after seeing aeroerin's swatches!

First I wanted DD and MTO but after Temptalia's "meh"-review I decided to reconsider but now they look so damn pretty in that picture that I'm starting to drool again.

I was a bit worried MTO and Fresh Salmon might be similar but luckily aeroerin happened to add FS to that swatch and it looks all pinky and not coral like MTO and DD. I guess Ever Hip is also pinker than DD and I'm surprised to see how berry-red Cyndi is. Fold and Tuck looks so lovely! Thanks aeroerin!

You're very welcome! I'm so happy they helped someone out! I was curious myself to see how similar MTO was to Cyndi/FS, and I was pleased to find out that they're not similar at all.

I have fresh salmon but I find that it is a bit hard for me to wear. I never thought to pair it with PHS, I'll try that next time!

I ended up getting the lighter chromagraphic pencil and instant chic!
I was planning on getting dressmaker, dressmaker, but when I swatched it I didn't like it as much, but now I think I need it again! I think I need to see some more lip swatches before I decide.

Instant Chic is sooo pretty! I am contemplating getting a back up, but I'll probably never finish it and end up finding something I'm just as excited about in a few months.

I just purchased instant chic, along with some b2m e/s. I ended up with sorcery, fig 1, and texture. I thought I wanted memorabilia, but when I swatched it I was unimpressed. I wish it was a matte2 finish.

Anyway, I compared Instant Chic with some of my other blushes.

If I hadn't sold my ripe peach, i would have compared them as well. But I think they are pretty similar from what I can remember ripe peach looking like.
