Both. The colors have enough sheen to work well on their own. It's a very easy way to achieve a great look without using too many extra products. The best of all is that I experience no creasing at all. Yippie!

I use Smoked Paprika and Delft on the lower lashline. Works like a charm.

I hope that MAC will release another palette in this formula. Whatever it is, I like it!
Are you using any brushes with these or applying to the lid with your CLEAN finger? Had to emphasize "clean" since I know you like it that way! HeeHee

I'm also curious if Delft PP was like this Delft? Has anyone answered that question?

I always use a brush. 212 for lower lashline, 239 for lids followed by 223 to blend it out (those long synthetic bristles come in really handy!).

I really like this new texture. It's so easy to blend, yet it doesn't crease. I wish MAC had given the formula a name.

I don't think they are the same. I don't have the palette but my Delft is a dark teal with lots of golden shimmer. The Delft in the palette appears to be more green with no shimmer

It seems like it's the same name, but a very different product. Wouldn't be the first time that MAC recycles a name. :)

Ha! You might end up getting it. Though if I doubt a product for too long, I usually pass.
ya same here...
i did go to mac today and pick up the 128 however...(keeping in mind your advice on not missing LE brushes...)

the eye palette poses a slight logistical problem for me with the whole ordering over the phone...whenever i have stuff delivered to my office, it goes awry and i wait 9 times as long as i should, and having it delivered to my house causes other hassles...i suppose a pro store should have the palettes too, but it's slightly out of my way at the moment...perhaps its for the best...hopefully mac will keep doing palettes like this!!!

I don't have the 223.... probably LE right? With regular Paint Pots, I usually use a 242 to place the color wherever I plan to use it on my lid, and then a 217 to blend. Might just stick w that method to see if it works.

I would definitely use a synthetic brush to blend these out. Do you have a synthetic blending brush?

this is true. I have a love/hate relationship with this palette. I love your swatches but hate cream shadows. Are these working out for you in the way you'd use a fluid line eyeliner? how about as a base with a powder e/s on top? I can probably work around the crease factor by avoiding putting it anywhere near the crease, but they would need to dry to a matte or near matte finish for me to be able to werk them. Enable Y/N?

Just posting my pics and 2 cents. Didn't read the previous comments, so sorry if any of this is repeated info.

These creams have the same texture as the full coverage foundation in my opinion. They are very dense, but easy to work with. They work great as liners, bases, or just cream shadows.

im assuming these palettes are also sold at the pro stores, right? not just online....
as far as I'm told, both this and the lip palette are only avail online. I just was in a pro store the other day and they didn't have either

Wow! Is Delft in the palette? Am I right in thinking that it used to be a paint pot? I think I need to order this now since I've been meaning to pick up Bottle Green and Indian Ink anyway. Thanks for the lovely swatches!
Hi there, it's not the same Delft. This one is more of a forest green and much darker. Also, the texture is different than a paint pot

I guess you need to enable yourself. LOL.

I love the palette as these shades are so easy to use. They are more firm than a fluidline, but work in a similar way, yet they are easier to spread out.

For those who need to be enabled: The palette works like a charm as a base for MES.

I tried Pepper-Salt under Summer Haze and it's a gorgeous combination.
